This is a list of known mafia roles that have been used in older mafia games. These will not change in any way in any game unless it is specifically stated in the signup thread. Roles will be added as they appear in mafia games.
Their goal is to kill the town. Roles usually include the following:
The goon is usually sent to do the actual killing. If they are tracked then they will be seen as visiting the murdered party.
# Roleblocker (prostitute)
The roleblocker can stop one person with a night action from performing that action. Roleblockers can be roleblocked themselves.
The godfather shows up as innocent when investigated by a sane cop, and does not appear to have visited anyone if tracked. The godfather is allowed to go out and kill someone themselves and let the goon remain behind. They are the final word in choices for the night.
While still aligned with the mafia, his additional goal is to get the Godfather killed. If the mafia wins with the Godfather still living, then the Usurper loses.
This villager appears to be sided with the town, but knows who the mafia members are. The mafia doesn't know who he is though, and if they want to recruit him, they must choose him for their night kill. After they are recruited, they become a regular mafia goon.
People with this role can protect one person each night from any fatal attacks dealt to them. Other roles are not stopped from performing their actions though.
This role can have a backup role (Nurse) that only activates when the original doctor dies.
They investigate one person each night and determine their guilt or innocence. The result can be changed based on someone's role or the cop's sanity:
Sane (innocent = innocent, guilty = guilty)
Insane (innocent = guilty, guilty = innocent)
Paranoid (innocent = guilty, guilty = guilty)
This role can have a backup role (Deputy/Retired Cop) that only activates when the original cop dies.
This person watches one person each night and see who visits them each night. This role can watch themselves and see who visits them. The watcher does not actually visit anyone, and is not detected in any kind of investigations of the person they're watching.
Tracks one person each night and sees who they visit. If someone is able to visit multiple people each night, the tracker will be told about every person.
Masons are a group of people (typically 3) that all know they are masons and aware of each other's existence. They are free to talk to each other at any point in the game, day or night, about the current state of the game. Masons can be aligned with both the town or the mafia.
Paranoid Gun Owner
This villager has no night time action, but if they are attacked during the night, they will kill whoever killed them.
A normal villager that becomes immune to night actions every other night.
A normal villager with no powers until they declare themselves the treestump at any point during the game. At that point, they become the treestump, unable to speak, vote or be killed for the remainder of the game.
A villager who has taken it upon themselves to rid the town of the mafia themselves. Each night they can choose one person to kill. They can choose to not kill during a night, and depending on the game, their number of kills may be limited.
Each night, this player can take one person into jail. This both blocks that person from performing their night actions and also prevents them from being affected from any other night actions. The jailkeeper cannot lock himself up.
This villager is the owner of a bulletproof vest, protecting them from either one fatal attack or one night of being attacked (as in, they can survive multiple attacks, as long as it's on the same night).
Their goal is to find the psychopath during the night by picking one player. If they correctly pick the psychopath, then that person becomes a normal villager. In that case, or if the psychopath dies, then the psychiatrist becomes a normal doctor.
Their goal is simple: be the last surviving member of the village by killing everyone else. They act alone and can choose anyone to kill each night.
Acts the same as the serial killer, but comes up as "innocent" when investigated by a sane cop.
These are two players that know each other and each other's roles. Their goal is to be the only two surviving players at the end of the game. Siblings can be any role, including mafia and cop.
This is a special role, unknown to the player who has received it. The Doublevoter has their vote count for two votes during the day, while the Voteless is worth zero votes. This does not appear in the vote count, and the mod needs to keep track of the varying counts.

It will be running again soon. At the moment however I decided to rest the Mafia games because we had an overabundance of them and I wanted them to be something special.
At one point it came to the fact that people would play a Mafia game, once the Mafia game ended then everyone would make another Mafia game and so on and so on and so on one right after the other.
So the stem for people wanting to join Mafia and actually play Mafia were dying down. People would join and play the Mafia games but would not bother properly. They'll be back up soon I'll assure you of that.
