So, I was having some matches with my friend and then he decided to have an Exdeath ditto. No one was attacking and it did not ended untill I gave up.
So I wanted an Exdeath counter to avoid the dittos.

No, god no, yes, not really, no, and hell no.
Kuja's really the only character Exdeath has trouble with, and only if he uses purely short-range BP attacks (as the speed at which they attack makes them very hard to block), along with remote flare. Emperor technically has the disadvantage, but demands so much patience from the Exdeath player he can drive the Exdeath to make a mistake and punish him for it. That takes alot fo skill with Empy, though, so if you want an Exdeath counter, go with Kuja.
Squall's HP attacks are terribly punishable, and he can't handle RP pressure; Zidane's Free Energy is actually very easy to dodge and punish with RP, and the rest of his moveset his easily countered or punished; Jecht can only keep up with Exdeath in fights with wussy rules ("no equips," as some call it). When manly rules are in play, Jecht's inability to get around EX Guarding is a huge problem for him. Especially since Exdeath owns that technique. Plus he takes a lot of effort to learn; Bartz only works against bad Exdeath players. Once the Exdeath is skilled, the matchup changes. Holy becomes useless, and RP pressure makes him unable to get away enough to properly use it. Flood spam can be punished with RP, Wind Shear can be Grand Crossed, etc. etc. etc.
All that said, Exdeath vs. Exdeath can be actually pretty intense if the two Exdeaths don't suck.

AWWWW I sense some hate. And if I remember correctly I've beaten your Exdeath more than you've beaten me in your "Man rules." I recall the only times you got a win on me was when you knew I had Scarmiglione and Magus sisters charaging so once you got a break you would Ifirt/Behemoth me. Really skillful there bro.
Peace. :P

Spoiler:
And I'm basing Squall on fighting a fuckton of Squalls. Rough Divide is easily countered, and Aerial Circle can be either RPed or Delta'd. Doesn't matter how much BP Squall gets, if he can't land an HP attack, it doesn't matter.
Holy gets beaten hands down by C-Vaccuum Wave, repelled by C-Hurricane, etc. etc. etc. Goblin Punch is easily avoided by RP keep-away. And you can RP into him when he whiffs it.
Might wanna stow the ego there, buddy. I never use Behemoth, and Ifrit's part of my automatic rotation, so nice memory you got there, too.
And you're complaining about my use of summons not being skillful, while complaining you couldn't use the ones that work for you... Right...

What do you mean about Exdeath counter? Characters against Exdeath who are good against him? Or attacks of Exdeath that are good to use against him?
For characters, I think people like Zidane (his free energy and Shift break goes thorug Omni Guard), Firion (correct me on this one but I like using firion gainst Exdeath mainers.), Kuja (Ultima destroys his omni guard.
and remote flare cannot be guarded.
).
For exdeath dittos, I don't know but I think I've seen a vid of tennis of exdeath using his void attack that shoots.

But cant I use omniblock?
Yeah you can use Omni guard but Jecht players can delay BRV attacks. But Lord Shmeckie is right in regards to the Jecht-Exdeath. Jecht is at the disadvantage. Also, I think Zidane is also a problem since his free energy is not his only arsenal (though when used right, free enrgy can definitely punish exdeath). Swift attack is very hard to block on reaction and you must anticipate this move for you to block it. Kuja will always be Exdeath's bane IMO.![]()
