1. If you are considering playing Mafia, but don't know how to play, here is a good link to check out the basic rules.
2. Don't quote PMs. You can only use evidence you have determined from the thread, and what the Mod tells you if you have a special role.
3. Voting goes in bold (Vote: Slayer0).
4. Nighttime PM communication is restricted to certain roles. Examples include the mafia and the masons.
5. The dead are dead, and are no longer allowed to influence the game. You may post ONCE after you die but you cannot post in a way that can influence the game or other players.
6. MODS = GODS
7. No editing or deleting posts. If you have to correct your post for some reason, double post and merge.
8.. If you do not post after two in-game days, you will receive a visitor message regarding your lack of posting. If you do not post after three in-game days, you will be replaced. This is to avoid lurking and help encourage active gameplay.
9. If you ask to be replaced, don't reveal your role. The Mod will take care of the transfer.
10. Don't forget to have fun!
With the addition of anti-lurking rules, you can sign up here after the game has begun and you will be placed on a waiting list. You might be able to enter the game if someone decides to drop out or is inactive.

(yes, this is a random vote, and no one will be particularly "scummy". plus, we can mislynch a ton of times, so unless cops want to claim with guilty (i'm assuming cops are in this game again), and we get a counterclaim, the game can't really move forward. of course, i'm going to assume we have a doctor if we have a cop. of course, doctor shouldn't claim.)

No lynch will net the mafia a free kill. It lets mafia gather information, and kill based on that information. In my opinion, we have to minimize the people mafia can be. This means minimizing our population. Of course, there are many conditions to change my vote. For example, if mudkipz is cop, or if our only cop claims (given that he DOES claim, we don't know if there's a doc yet, and i highly doubt we will SHOULD until cop gets a guilty) mudkipz is innocent, then I will change my vote. That, of course, means that we have to put doc on cop.
I am always willing to change my vote if someone can persuade me, but as it stands, I'm not willing to let mafia kill a person for free. Still, I feel that a random lynch is better than a no lynch.
Remember, as we get more info, Mafia gets more info as well.

I am going for a random lynch because we have no clues. A no lynch with this many mislynch opportunities feels like a complete waste. To make our shots and lynches more accurate, we must, MUST minimize the population. Our chances are 1/25 to hit a maf. If we no lynch, our chances will be 1/24. If we lynch, our chances will be 1/23.
Sure, the maf will also have a 1/23 chance of hitting the cop, but the cop will also have a 1/23 chance of getting a guilty.
With that, I think it's pretty clear where I stand. No lynch is a waste of a day.
I do think cop shouldn't be outed in a game where we can't confirm doc yet (mafia could have no-killed or doc could have saved), but if cop is outed because of this random lynch, I really do hope there is a doctor to keep him alive at night, lol.
