make sure also if you do go through with it that you have people willing to dedicate their time to helping you with this tournament (brackets, user questions, uploads, replay rulebreaking watching, etc.) Just take your time to plan this out

I don't think this one will be offical. It seems like alot of fun and I'm certainly entering. Rule set seems nice although pretty random. (Ex-Depletion, Ultima Weapon, Multipliers.... why?)

Reminds me of the Street Fighter 4 teams in Japan gathering (3 on 3 and so on).

If anything I am dying to be a part of it. I have so much on my plate so I can't even analyze the rulesets yet. But I will do so as this tournament turns into a reality.
