Ulty without Iai?

Could ultimecia fight without relying on her ever-staple Iai build? For instance,battling in KaOs rulesets and the like?
Ive seen most ulty mainers use this build but rarely see players use her in a "real" battles...

I don't support Iai Strike for anybody because it's luck-based and cheap imo. It punishes the other player for outplaying you, which doesn't make any sense.

Ulti causes Break pretty easily in Kaos.
In equip matches she has alternatives to Iai, such as EX and ATK builds.

I honestly think it's a waste of an accessory. I agree that it's cheap and pointless, and you could just set up an attack build for less of a gamble.

Percentage or ATK Builds seem to work quite well for me

The thing about Iai which annoys me is, Ultimecia is more than capable of connecting attacks and actually causing substantial damage without it. People only seem to use it, and regard it as a staple accessory because it can proc on each Knight Sword.

I always use an ATK build on Ultimecia, with Artifacts help on gathering EX.
Works well and no pressure on keeping up the boosters.

Thanks for the advice everyone! never thought that many people resent her build that much...ATK and/or EX build would be the best build

reminds me of using ulty with Iai against a cloud(Arcane,valor,Destruction...) resin staple player... heh,The joy of breaking in 1 hit...
which made me think ,Iai Ulty is appliable only in cheap AI chacters in BJ colloseum and humans alike (judging from the cold replies...)

I can't say wholly that its a cheap build but situationally usable against some opponents who use dirty tricks

Of course she can.
My main set-up is an Ex trap one and I wouldn´t trade it for nothing. Although an ATK set-up is just as fun.

I use Iai strike setup for the Blackjack course... it just owns

i used to use it in general but it being widely frowned upon, i found myself not able to have many battles using Ulti... now though I use an ATK build... the damage this time bending sorceress can do is insane, I find I actually break the opp more with the ATK build than I did with the Iai build... 2200 Charged knights Axe FTW!!!!!!!!
