I'm gonna disagree with the hard to hit HP attacks. If you're having some trouble hitting them here are some tips.

Great Attractor: Wait for it to charge to full size then hold it till you seem them dash or jump 99% oh the time it'll hit.

Most the time your opponenet will not let it get to full size if they're up close. If they do, they end up jumping really high up or far below you where Great Attractor will never hit. Remember it takes around 13 seconds for Great Attractor to fully form, which point moves like Braver/Rough Divide/Grand Lethal/The Emperor's Flare can also get THROUGH that giant ball.

Besides smart players won't Dash when they see Great Attractor, they go back and drop to the floor. They stay far away from Great Attractor as possible. In a sense it's the opposite of Emperor's Starfall. Emperor brings people together, Great Attractor is forcing people away. (Which doesn't make much sense in the context.)

Apocalypse: I found two uses one is normally if they are above you, most people tend to charge when they are on top so just use it let it track for a sec or two if you can see them then release. For use number two wait for them to come in close with a dash or attack. This one is a bit hard cause it requires good timing but if you get the times right she becomes easy to HP with.

Apocalypse is definately the easiest HP attack to hit with. Most smart players will stay away from you if you drop towards the ground. And smart players don't get to close to Ultimecia. There's actually a window of oppunitity to hit Ultimecia while the Apocalypse is forming. And usually the people I've played have learnt since then to dodge away from me before coming close. Apocalypse also gets overrided by the afformed attacks above.

Also they never stay above Ultimecia. Since being above Ultimecia = DEATH. Only people who are inexperienced againest fighting Ultimecia will stay above her.

Plus Tidus can Dodge & Throw, ExDeath can All-Guard (Albeit being EXTREMELY hard to time.)

Also you reminded me that I needed to add to her attack listing about Apocalypse. =P

Shock wave Pulsar: Last but not least is this move sadly I haven't had it help me out as often as the other two but it can still be used. Only way besides the charge distance way I know of is yes I know crazy but up close! If you notice the arc it makes if you pay attenion you can usually see if the enemy is within the line if so it fires quick and bam there is the damage.

I don't claim to be a god with her but I have to decided to main her and I've found these useful on human players as much as NPCs so give it a try and see if it works for you. Also all suggestions are appreciated.

Last but not least, what I consider the harder one to hit with. It has it's usefulness as a technical BRV -> HP move.

Most players play below Ultimecia to avoid all her attacks. They just don't want to get hit!

Don't worry I haven't told everyone everything yet either.

Ultimecia NEEDS no zoning techniques. Her attacks are designed to force the oppoenet away.

Ultimecia just doesn't gain the same buff that Golbez or Sephiroth did. In turn though, hers IS the fastest one of the three.

Thanks for posting this Kraid. I never thought i would like playing with Ultimecia as much as i do now and this helped clarify a few things. I always had such a hard time aiming correctly with shockwave pulsar.

How do you use it? Sure it's safe but it's really hard to land.

Does nobody really play Ultimecia on this site? I do find her difficult to use. What particular moves should I spam the most?
