Yeah, but not really providing a light source. You can either base it off your render and work around it (White Brush where your light source will be, Gradual Dark Brushes away from your light source) or use a new layer, Apply Image and then go to the Lighting Effects filter under Render. I usually use that one, but it also has to do with me liking monotonous sigs.
Ahh, no. Not lens flare.
There's another one called 'Lighting Effects'
Lens Flare is used more as an effect for magic and stuff (like if you do a Rasengan sig, you might want to use Lens Flare with some erasing). Lighting Effects is nice and gradual, you can choose Spotlight or Omni or Directional (With the easiest one to use for sigs being Omni). Try it out.
Try not to attempt to replicate an old sig, by the way, it tends to turn out wrong. Anyway, you usually don't mix the lighting effect with a white brush, but you can also try out blending modes of the lighting effects layer OVER the original layers. E.G. you make an apply image lighting effects layer, try using overlay or screen or whatever on different opacities, it may make a nice effect.

ROFL, don't sound desperate man. I want to respect because you show too much skill. Just be patient, someone will comment. Like me!
Hmm... Hmmm...
....
I rather like it. You didn't change much to the original stock and you shouldn't have as it was already a beauty image. Rather you added on as to what the that scene represents with the C4D. Which is a bonus for those who are familiar with the series.
Increasing the saturation - that is what you did, correct? - seemed to go favorably in your direction. And really makes the signage pop out.
Jolly good show, old chap.
I like it. It looks like he's shattering through something into the sky. =3
Too bad that it has text in it though. I really don't like text in signatures, but hey, it's your choice.
I like to put text in signatures too.
But you might want to try effects and different fonts, or mixing fonts (look at the Ushio in my signature, for example). And you might want to refrain from putting your name in every sig, I mean, in your Sora one (which is nicely done btw, except the right side is a bit weird since the sparkle and sharpness is a bit off from the rest, but that is thanks to the render) you have 'Sora Cloud.Strife' there. Doesn't that just strike you as odd? Even if you want to credit yourself or put your mark, might want to try it more subtly. =P
