Regardless, Kuja STILL needs to get enough BRV to do so, which is something that Seph can prevent pretty well, what with the whole BRV ownage thing he has going on.

I've never had a problem fighting Sephiroth players. SC is the only thing Sephiroth has going on for him in the air, and it is easily countered.

From experience, mainly against you Nexus, Kefka overpowers Kuja.

WoL can become a strong threat to Kuja, especially if he is directly over/under. Shining Wave has invincibility frames that you can use to anticipate even Kuja's BRV's, and is capable of striking him if he's not too high up. Shield of Light has invincibility startup, and can stop most of Kuja's BRV's, in addition to staggering him.

That's not to mention how WoL's buckler attacks can strike in Kuja's blind side (direct directly above or below him). Or how they link to HP Attacks.

If there's one largely improved matchup, that's Squall vs. Kuja. This is because of of two reasons: the first is the buffed Heel Crash. It closes distance, slams Kuja down to the ground, and has good invincibility frames.

Of course, some of the attacks are still fast enough for Kuja to dodge before Squall smacks him in the face, but the thing is that you can't float around and toss magic at Squall anymore like the Japanese version, since he has a moving shield against them.

The second reason is Aerial Rough Divide. It completely stops all of Kuja's HP Attacks, with Ultima only barely escaping if you can sidestep enough. Although, you can steer clear of it in stages where you can hide behind obstacles (i.e. Pandemonium) and harass Squall with Ultima/Remote Flare.

Thank you so much you don't know how much you will help me with your details.

can we discuss a little more on Kefka vs Kuja? I actually think Kefka's worst match-up (mage-wise) is Kuja. (then again My main mages are Terra, and Kuja)

Kuja can't handle WWF very well if he can't interrupt it. He doesn't have a Rough Divide like move to use to counter WWF. And ECF is fast, accurate, and can cause problems for Kuja easily. It's mostly a match regarding who gets ahead and can keep being aggressive. I wouldn't say even, but it isn't a horrible matchup

I'm going to run some move tests (idk why, but saying that made me lol)
    btw which one is WWF
the one that splits into 3 smaller fires (and starts chase), or the one that stops you and holds you there if it hits?

It's only an acronym; you can find out easily by checking his ability list, but if you're not in the mood to do that it's the latter.
