I've got a question, Rey. If you're so adamant about following whatever MvC2 or SF4 rules or whatever, why not organize a tourney yourself? You say you've got ample experience, and I'm sure you can find lots of people who would participate. Instead of spiting Nero's hard work with your idle commentary, why not just lead by example? If you are as knowledgeable about all this as you say, then why don't you take your views, stop clogging up our 'why don't we just have fun' tournament, and you can make whatever sort of elitist no-holds-barred tournament you're itching to make? sweet, double elimination will make following this tournament just as interesting as playing in it! Looking forward to seeing some Jecht players (if any) and hoping they do well. A good tournament will make more people interested, meaning more people will get in the community, as in the Dissidia community, not the board only.
I've showed this board to many people who are interested in getting into the game, but they think you guys are making it hell for a simple game and they just lost interest. They literally went from "This game could go somewhere" to "These people don't know what they're doing, do they?"
I might have made it unpleasant, but I used to give a shit, otherwise I won't bother from the start trying to help you see how it should be done.
