The ease with which one can project onto him? How many people complained endlessly about him being "derailed" in the composition because they thought he was some kind of stoic badass, even though the original game actually supports the alleged "derailing"?

Based on the official media, Cloud was a somewhat quite person who was timid around people. He was kidnapped, experimented on, and saw his best friend die right in front of him. He is confused and deeply troubled, which is slowly remedied through the course of Final Fantasy 7. He relapses before Advent Children due to the Geo Stigma, and comes to his senses as he finally defeats his demons.

People class him as forever emo as all other media continue to show him in his base role from Final Fantasy 7, this is most evident in Dissidia, where all characters are shown in their initial roles, as well as Kingdom Hearts.

Hey, I put "derailed" in quotes for a reason. I know it makes no sense. But I've seen it said a dozen times.

here are the reasons why:

he has an awesome voice
he has an awesome armour
he has an awesome cape
Genesis Rock=win
Cosmic Ray is so Freakin cool
He's the only bad guy whith a chainable HP atack
He's actually not that bad
he's very wise and helps all the good guys in their odisey
He as a very cute dragon
And Hes the only one who can..............Trenscend the Starzzzzzz!!!!!!
