I vote for cloud simply because he is the easiest character to use combos especially for beginners like me

Squall. Dunno about looks or so, but I've always thought he was pretty cool. Also, even though I try to mix up the characters I use, he's always point man for a lot of things on my file, including blazing through the Duel Coliseum.
