Samurai Champloo: Excellent action scenes, with some added humor. Also, easily one of the best soundtracks of any anime ever. Though a few of the 26 episodes are rather...fillerific. Anyways, I highly recommend it to anyone who likes anime. Also, one of the best anime opening and ending OSTs of all time.
Blood+: Sexy female on male rape, and some cool action scenes. Story gets pretty deep later on. My only real gripe is that some of it seems a bit outlandish (yes, it's a fantasy anime), and some parts of it seem a bit too...Shonen-y. Also, do people in that anime like, speak every language ever? Wtf?
Darker than Black: Many plot points aren't really readily apparent, but as you progress through, it becomes at least fairly clear. Also, this anime is incredibly slick, and has some incredible action. Along with the most badass main character I've seen in a little while. Also, great soundtrack and English voice acting. It's sequel Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor has a much different style compared to the original DtB, as it's much less slick and cool, and is more of a Shonen anime. Still pretty good though. It has one singular plot, rather than the original DtB, which had two part episodes,that seemed fairly unrelated until the end.
