What builds work?

I've recently been getting back into playing Cloud of Darkness, but I seem to be having trouble finding a build that suits her well. None of the builds I've tried are bad for her, but none seem to capitalize on her strengths. I guess this is just from inexperience using her after being away from playing her for so long, but my question is this; what are some equipment/accessory builds that work best for Cloud of Darkness?

An attack build works well, seeing as many of her attacks hit multiple times.
An Iai strike build might also work, as you will be able to break opponents from a distance with ToP and ToS 3
Whatever works best really, I tend to use the attack one.

I find the Gaia setup to work well, or the block/dodge setup as well (only against AIs though). The only 3 HP attacks I really use with her are [0-form], [Wrath], and [Feint], so that build works well up to a point. But find what kind of build works for you, since everyone plays differently

Intake, Force Absorption, Duration

Blackjack: Iai
50% Iai

EX build isn't great, I use it myself but CoD still suffers from lack of any real EX bonus that makes EX builds what they are for characters like Garland or Kefka

The only positive side of an EX build is Ex crits (the extra skill needed of course) and the one or two Ex guards you might be able to pull off.

I use an ex build bcause of the ex combos she can pull of in ex mode but it really depoends on your playstyle

Are you kidding? CoD's Ex-Mode is REALLY good. It gives CoD an offense that makes her next to unpunishable.

Infact CoD is one of the only characters I recommend using Ex-Mode Duration for aswell because it's THAT good.

A Wall rush HP build is also nice for her. I keep a perma-EX build for her most of the time, like Kraid said, if you know how to use the Null particle beam she becomes a monster. I tend to mix the Wall rush with the EX build for maximum effect.

Certain HP attacks, such as O-Form, Wide Angle, and Feint. I only use Wide Angle in EX mode when I can combo it from Ground Tentacle 3. Feint is good for certain enemies who have easy to dodge attacks.

The Wall rush just doubles the damage you deal in certain cases.
