I have a question for Kraid, do you prefer an EX-build or a Perma-EX-Build?

I prefer usually a Ex-Build, get the Ex-Mode off and then do it again for loads of free "Get out of Jail cards."

For CoD however it's the only time I MIGHT consider a Perma-Ex-Build.

I personally use a Perma-EX, but the extra EX guards always come in handy.

Staying in ex mode for a long time is really good, it gives u the chance of being destructive whith her for almost all the match, but I rather have an ex build or what kraid said and bcause I wanna be able to have a full ex gauge faster than my opponent. Use ex build if u want to be saved when your in trouble

Yes, those EX guards are very nice, probably a good choice to put EXP > HP with the normal EX build, then use an EXP > BRV or EXP > EX force with the Perma EX. (Of course I still use EXP > HP even with a Perma-EX build)

I like using Perma-EX simply because you can keep the enemy wondering what will come out next, and always keep pressure on them, countering with wrath instantly when they think they have you after a Feint, then as in EX mode she gets a nice collection of BRV > HP combos, and even HP > HP combos. And regen with Archangel's bell plus boosters will keep her HP in good condition, from there you only need to be weary of BRV collectors.

The thing about CoD with Ex-Mode is that also she doesn't gain like a huge damage boost like most characters do. Even in Non-Permanent Ex-Builds, these are useful.

The trouble with CoD's Ex-Mode is that you have to choose between Ex-Linking OR Less Frames.

Ex-Linking Wrath (or Feint!) essentially allows you to do damage each time you would Ex-Mode.

But a Permanent Ex-Mode will allow for the full benefits of hitting with CoD including combos and ACTUALLY ABLE TO USE HP ATTACKS OUTSIDE OF WRATH MORE OFTEN.

It really is a difficult choice. But again I should note she is probably the only character I recommend a permanent Ex-Mode for.... except maybe Garland aswell.

That's absolutely true, I always find myself either using Tentacle > HP combos, or tricking the enemy into a Wrath, or Feint, even an Anti Air Particle Beam.
I think she gets a great pressure game in her EX mode.
