Messin around with Gabranth today and slapped all these accessories on him and it works pretty well for me.I seriously don't know whether it's a EX Build or what but let's hope it can be improved.

    Equips:

    Boghertz's Hands
    Grand Helm
    Maximillian

    Accessories

    Large gap in BRV
    Summon unused(Self)
    Pre-HP Damage(Opponent)
    HP=100%(Opponent)

I suggest posting it in dissidia support & guides section because any character can equip all those accessories and equipment. and the effect would litterally not be as strong especially for gabranth because your hp = 100% accessory will not work because gabranth w/o ex mode cant do anything and your opponent has plenty of time 2 land there hp attacks same w/ pre hp attack most characters have hp links as well so that effect wont last long, instead of the dragonfly orb maybe u could use a gravitorb for more intake and maybe u can replace your golden hourglass w/ a white gem to hit ex mode faster, replace hp = 100% and pre hp attack w/ more effective boosters like opponents summon unused 4 the same effect except reliable since most people use summons 2 save themselves or use level 100 because ur gonna actually want an effect that works throughout the whole battle. -_-"

get genji set. dragonfly orb isnt that necessary, u dont get that uch cores and when u do, they fill up a lot of EX anyway. I'd get a gravitorb to further add to the intake range. A damage acc would also be nice although u dont really need it.

I think he's using Heaven's cloud for that effect, which really isn't a great idea. The setup for Gabranth really should be containing a Chamion Belt, Gold hourglass, Gravitorb (if even, most of the time the force will just end up coming to you anyway.) and Pearl Necklace. The rest of the booster accessories shouldn't be requirements that are that hard to fulfill (the pre-HP damage one for example, change it to YOU instead of OPPONENT since you can control your actions, but not your opponent's). Imo, it's better to give Gabranth a permanent 6x booster than a difficult-to-keep-9x booster. But it's really just whatever suits your needs.
I agree with TKG, get Genji instead, it's a MUST for Gabranth, also work on getting his Chaos Blade, and if you don't have that, it's better to equip him with a machine gun, since almost all of his BRV attaacks are massive BRV wall rush damage. Alternatively, since Innocence has a slight chance of wall rush, you can try Earthbreaker with Axe Adept for a lot more power.
Hmmm, I think that's all the input I have for now unless I'm forgetting something

intake range is more of a priority than ex mode duration, wich is why i prefer heavens cloud over chaos blade, not to mention the +2 in attack. However that does require 20 CP, so the weapon choice is really up to you.

It really just depends who you are, I've never found total priority in Intake range, whereas if the opponent decides he/she wants to run away, you have more time to work things out, rather than be pressured by lack of EX force. It's all in the player's taste tho

^^^^^^ Lmao, intake range is top priority and most people use heavens cloud so gravitorbs are necessary that & absorption :P

Like I said, it's opinion, as in it's not really my priority, yet I have gravitorbs in my setup as well

You may want to check out other threads that are already discussing the same topic since a lot of these threads have been pooping up lately on the same exact thing, and it would help the organization if they are in the same place. Also check out the support and guides section as this is not character unique. If you have difficulty finding try searching, but most important stuff has stickies.

    Anyway on to your post,

Obviously everyone has their own style of play, but it has been an old debate regarding what is best on Gabranth: damage, ex range, or ex duration. It all depends on your opponent and if they are using a damage set, ex build themselves, or a mix of lufenian and ex build, etc. How they play? Do they turtle, camp, and what not?

Generally, in all out equips nothing is better than a balanced Ganranth. Ex range is a bit overrated so don't solely focus on that, for it was proven ex range is not everything. Don't get me wrong, you do need ex range but an old rounded self sustained Gabranth would do better. Now what the heck does that mean you may say:

    Focus on

    1. Ex Duration
    2. Ex Absorption Rate
    3. Ex Range

Ex Duration can greatly be solved by Artifacts like Ex Conqueror (2x) which also give you luck as well for making ex core appear closer to you. Equip Silver and Gold Hourglass as well. The point in extending your ex mode duration is that you can stay much longer than you need to which gives you a safety buffer against turtles and campers. Chaos Blade is also a must since 40% Ex Mode duration is hard to pass up only shy of 50%. As Gabranth staying in Ex is very important.

The second most important characteristic is Ex Force Absorption rate. It doesn't matter that you can collect more orbs, what matters is that you can collect the ones near you and have them give you a lot more per unit.

Range comes third because you only need about ~10 meters at max and accessories like Attractor and Gravitorb will make it easier for you. Also you may want to have one Ex Seeker Artifact so that you didn't need Close to You taking away valuable accessory slot, and it also gives you a bit of range.

The rest should be filled with multipliers of at least ~5x. I found than an ideal number is actually ~11 but you sacrifice a lot in terms of balance. With 5-7x you should be fine.

Lastly if you can find a place for Damage, accessories like Red gems or Championbelt can be used, but are they necessary? I don't think you need damage for Gabranth as he is a power house. A few other characters can compete with Gabranth's damage bp output. But you may need it if the opponent has very high defense or high attack.

Good luck finding the best set.

^you basically just described my setup (minus EX conquerer set, I use Genji). An 8x multiplier will keep you in EX mode for about a minute, which is really a long time considering how fast battles can be at times.
