I've been replaying this and really I think it's the best FF Tactics game. The first FF Tactics game is so damn overrated. I think the Ivalice world of FFTA and FFTA2 is much more imaginative.

Comparing FFTA to FFTA2...Luso's a lot cooler than Marche (though his design is still terribad) and somehow they even made Vaan, yes Vaan, a neat character. Adelle and Cid are great too. When I first saw this game's Cid I cracked up, but when I played the game I ended up really liking the character.

The missions are more varied this time around and I like the side stories a lot better overall. Taking down Klesta with House Bowen and saving the Komodo Potions guy's ass were just great for example. The new classes they added are pretty cool and so are the new races. It would have been nice if the new races had some more options, but the jobs they have aren't too bad. There are so many damn quests in this game and on hard mode some of them can be quite a challenge.

Oh? so I'm not the only one who loves the whole Tacitics and Tacitics A2? I absolutly love it. I blame my brother for getting me hooked on it. Anyway forvite job is the adelier(sp?). Second favorite is the all mighty blue mage/ninja combo! 3rd is the paladin/white mage. What are your guys favorite job combos.

Those sound pretty cool. Paladins, Blue Mages and Ninjas are great.

Actually I alternate between Paladin and Black Mage when leveling my Blue Mage so that he has good defense to survive the skills he needs to learn and good magic to use said skills. Also with Cover he has twice the chance of getting hit by the skills he needs to learn (my beastmaster can't take control of all monsters yet so sometimes I just try to get lucky with learning new blue mage ones).

I also have a red mage/green mage. It's like a Christmas mage!

Nu Mou Alchemists are really cool since they can have Alchemy+another job+items equipped at once. There's lots of potential with them. I use mine as an Alchemist/Black Mage, but there's probably some other good combos for Alchemists.

Any of the ranged classes have a zillion good combos too. Ever since FFTA1 I've always tried to have a Moogle Knight/Gunner combo on my team for Mog Knight attacks from a distance. You can do cool stuff with Human Hunters, Viera Snipers as well.

I enjoyed all the gamez in the FF Tacticz seriez.
I've finished this game only once tho.
it wasnt a bad game. but not a masterpiece either.
