@Shine- Lol going by what you said Golbez is pretty much horrible on every map that isn't Kefka's Tower, he can handle anyone that isn't a mage on any map except for FF7 and FF9.

Of course, I think Shine's only saying those places as general locations. If it's Golbez vs. Firion, I doubt Firion will take to the air in Santuary to try to outperform Golbez. Same with other ground characters like Cloud, Emperor, etc.

I listed locations that if you can avoid fighting at you should do so, and for reference (and because I dislike the tone you said that with Robo) the only locations I actually said were: Chaos' Throne, FF7, The Rift, Order's Sanctuary, Old Chaos Shrine (which I specified as "only bad versus most mages"). So Robo, I know you are trying to be helpful (lolwut) but you clearly mistook what I said for something else. I truly hope that you just misread my post, because I've tried to make it clear; Kefka's Tower is his best stage and the aforementioned stages are just ones that I would dissuade you from choosing if you happen to have the choice. As a matter o' fact I disagree that FF9 is bad for anyone but fighting mages (since they can camp the "outer ring"), it is a decent stage when fighting melee opponents (which you imply it is bad for) but you have to watch to make sure you don't DC off the edge of whatever you happen to be standing on. In short, I never said that Golbez is "bad" on every stage, I just offered up the stages that a Golbez should be weary of (not even that he'll be at a strong disadvantage, just that he would do best to fight elsewhere). Also look at what he was asking, he asked for what stages Golbez was bad on not what Golbez's worst stages were; are you really going to get all up on my nuts for giving a comprehensive answer?

I Imagine that you can PLAY on any stage...just some have exploits that can be used against Golbez. Some being far more detrimental then others.

BTW is a passive or aggressive Golbez better? I tend to stand back and wait for them... cause if i dash at them it seems to take forever for Golbez to land again and i end up using his airbourne attacks more.

Really depends on the matchup and how much of an advantage you have. You should be able to switch between the two styles as you fight, seeing as Golbez has the tools to be either.
