I was sad that Angeal was one of the first DWMs that Zack forgot.
I mean what the hell Zack, as if the big, massive sword in your hands wasn't reminder enough, not to mention the haircut and everything...
But all that aside, yeah, they pulled it off right, most games try to make the line between hero and villain completely obvious, like "do this and this will happen because you're good", but the sense of betrayal portrayed was quite intense for me.
I love that they made it playable, it would have been so easy to fade to black as Zack faced the army and then go straight to Cloud on the train, but instead they decided to have the entire sequence, which was pulled off magnificently. Except for Why. That song can go die in a fire.
I don't cry often, but the scene was pretty intense. I was sad that Zack died that way. I also think he was the best character from FFVII in any possible way ever.
The world... is being reborn...
