Boy, they are really sending the PSP off in style! Im thinking this will be a day one purchase from what Ive read and the look of the gameplay in the trailer. I dont have a PS3 or an 360, so I havent played FFXIII (and from the sound of the battlesystem, dont know if I want to. you only directly control one party member!?) but it seems as though I dont need ot know anything about it as this is a prequel. Anyone know if Lightning will be in it or is this story far removed from the flagship title? She DOES seem like a cool character. And I like how she plays in Duodecim. Now if PSN would come up so i can get my Aya Brea costume on her....

Well i suppose this may be the perfect thread for this.
In Final Fantasy Type-0, all the nations are under constant attack. Whilst you walk around on the world map you will be attacked by enemies.
The player gets missions assigned from the military like attacking specific spots in enemy territory. Other ones are like capture the flag by reclaiming bases captured by the enemy. Defeat the commander and the town is yours again. Capturing towns allows players to visit shops and buy items specific to the territory.
Odin returns in Final Fantasy Type-0 as a War God. He wears a jet black armour, Odin has three attacks:
Full Moon Slash – a wide attack that hits many enemies
Jinba Ittai This attack lets Odin clear long distances in the blink of an eye and slash an enemy.

Zantentsuken – Odin’s trademark attack. As usual, it cuts an enemy in half instantly killing them.
Gilgamesh is an enemy in Final Fantasy Type-0. He is called L’cie Gilgamesh and wears the Great Genbu armor as seen in the DLC reveal pictures. Using a Genbu crystal, Gilgamesh powers himself up and towers over the player, becoming twice their size.
