Well the trophies themselves aren't worthless but the way to get them is pretty lame

I was wondering that myself, except on the 360, it's gamer pics...
I've already bought the set (my current is Snow), so have I just bought it when I could get it for free?
Not sure if there's any other Xbox-ers here, anyway. xD

I have no idea. Like I said, I bought a set of XIII-2 gamer pictures, the lightning picture was similar to the one I unlocked for having XIII data on my HDD...
So, I'm wondering if it's just various pics in the set that's unlocked via achievements... Going to have to do some research, I guess.

Noel Kreiss:
Get “5 Star” rank on the final Boss.
Alternate Lightning:
Earn the “Master of Time” platinum trophy.
Mog:
Earn the “Fair Fighter” trophy.
Serah Farron:
Earn the “Defragmented” trophy.
