So I bought the rest of the XIII-2 DLC yesterday and I got to admit, Gilgamesh is the hardest thing I have ever faced in the XIII universe. And then there's Valfodr. >_>
And now the topic lays dead. It was nice while it lasted.
Anywho, has any played this game recently?

Last time I played this was somewhere after the Lightning and Amodar DLC because finding Amodar in Academia and answering his questions was a pain >_>

I just had an interesting thought...
Before Serah and Noel went to Academia 500AF, they met Lightning who opened the gate. Now that was set in New Bodum in 700AF if I recall...
At the end of the Goddess DLC, Lightning awakens in Noel's village in 700AF. Is that the same Lightning that helps Serah and Noel?

It could have messed up the time line even more if she did. I'd imagine that if Serah and Noel knew what was going to happen from killing Caius, and they just left him, then the future would have changed, so Lightning wouldn't have told them what would happen, leading them to killing him anyway.
Oh, and there's this:
http://news.softpedia.com/news/Squar...1-284560.shtmlProducer Yoshinori Kitase has revealed to Japanese magazine Famitsu that a new title in the Final Fantasy XIII series went into production and would be officially announced on September 1, when publisher Square Enix is set to hold an event to celebrate 25 years from the launch of the first title in the franchise.
The new game is known at the moment as the Lightning Saga, which means that it will focus on the character with the same name, although an official name will be revealed on September 1.
The game will probably use the main characters that gamers already know from the core XIII release and from its first sequel, while the mechanics stay firmly in the Japanese role-playing game genre.
The statement from Yoshinori Kitase is bad news for those who were hoping to hear news about Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which was recently rumored to be canceled and was then revealed to still be in development.
