Watera is pretty awesome for pressure, but unfortunately, if you give the opponent enough space to block it and recover from the stagger, then it becomes your problem. So Watera is kinda a tool for pressure, but only when you apply your own as well.
Plus, there is the Watera>Army of One glitch that can be fun, too n.n

As for the Watera>Army of One glitch - it's the same glitch where if something hits the enemy while you're in the middle of an attack, your attack will connect as if it had attacked.
So, say you're spamming Army of One, and you random Watera you sent out hits while you're still in the animations for Army of One. Army of One will continue, trying to track to the opponent, because the Watera spell counted as a connection. Really nice because even if they block it, it still staggers them, opening them up to Army of One if it's close enough to get to them before they recover.

Also Watera and Army of One are good to use together since they both stagger. Army of One just looks so epic...
Lightning has alot of good looking atks.
I've also been able to do Various Wall Rush/Non Wall Rush combos with assist.
That and her 2 air brv atks that can combo. (Commando)

Lighting is just pure fun for me.
I had no idea you could aim ruin thats going to help a lot.
Also her blizzard spell that thing can suck in from really far away.
In short I like all of her magic, Its like playing Cecil with more flexibility, of course timing is tricky, sometimes I feel like medic gets in the way.
I tried all the other others, that are in the demo but Lighting is just that much fun to play.
Yeah XIII is my in my top two favorite FF games, and Lighting is my favorite girl in the seires. Either way she is just that fun to play, looking foreword to the English demo and of course to the full game.
On a closing note watera is just pure win but you folks knew that already

Separated Link glitch? SLG for short? Name comes from being able to execute the second half of the Link (whether it's BRV Continuation/HP Link) all though the attack that hit was separated from the actual attack. I hope that makes sense =POriginally Posted by Belts0091

I was wondering.... How does Lightning's aerial Brave assist compare against Cecil's? They both floor rush although I think Lightning's may do a bit more damage. Does the length (or duration) of Cecil's assist make it any easier to combo?
