Waterga seems to have quite high priority. I saw it stagger delta attack and high guard against Exdeath (still got deflected) and reflect his projectile attack (cant remember its name).

Lightning's turning out to be a lot more fun than I originally thought. Going to try this again, but just now it seems as though that her other abilities can hit confirm for Scene Drive/Army of One, after Waterga hit the move kept going even though Scene Drive didn't actually touch Kefka.
Edit: Just did it again. Seems to work consistently(Just gotta get that Waterga to hit), unfortunately, it doesn't move you too far towards your opponent even if you do hit.
Cure seems somewhat useful for long ranged caster enemies as well as you can hide in her thunderstorm(ground forward move) or behind her Waterga or terrain and just spam it up a bit.

I guess that makes sense. But if she gets punished even once while using cure, it kind of offsets whatever advantage that move had previously conferred. I imagine there are more effective ways to build Brave against most opponents.
Meh.
I do like the bubble though.
Found a couple more videos (I have a couple also with Kain that I'll be posting in the Kain thread... They have a couple characters we haven't seen)

Now that Robo helped me get the demo, I can be more helpful to the discussion n.n
Blaze Rush seems like a good staple move, but I'm glad it's not like Beat Fang. It requires you to really know the range the bullets have, and the maximum angle you can attack from. It's certainly not an all-purpose aerial attack, but great for attacking from a decent distance.
I've also been trying out my little Synth Attack, "Shock Treatment" and it seems to work - at least on AI. Thundaga stays out for quite awhile, and blocks magic, so I cast Thundaga, Paradigm Shift to Medic, and then stand in the strips of lightning while I spam Cure. I was fighting Firion and he kept trying to blast me with magic, and it all just bounced right off my Thundaga :3

Hmm, so a Thundaga barrier, maybe a Waterga "flare" and a hell of a lot of cure spamming. Sounds good.

That could be the case. Granted it doesn't cure a lot, but it could potentially help you from getting Broken.
Also, I was playing around with Ruin, and wondering why the trajectories were so sporadic. Turns out you can AIM YOUR RUIN BULLETS During Lightning's hand wave, you can tilt that analog stick to change whether it goes up, down, or straight. REALLY good if someone does a forward dodge at you to avoid the shots, because you can just tilt up on the stick to pelt them with the last bullets while they dodge.

You're not, if Play-Asia didn't suck, I'd have had the damn demo yesterday. They also fucked up my MHP3 preorder a while ago, I'm really hating them lately...
Yeah, I didn't think it was overpowered or anything, but it just sounds like a cool idea.
Aiming your own Ruin shots sounds awesome, I'm guessing it's not the same for Fire though, as those kind of sit for a while. From what I've seen though, their tracking sucks, maybe they could use manual aim :P
