Kefka General Discussion

I don't play Kefka, but I know somebody who does and we were talking about him a bit.

I think he got a lot better. To be honest, I think every character got a little better, but Kefka's buffs seemed particularly significant to me.

Havoc Wing comes out faster and seems to have more range. That's very important to his game in my opinion. It seemed to me like hyperdrive was a lot faster too. It reminded me of Warrior of Light's Shining Wave except even faster. I heard and noticed that he can move around while doing forsaken null now. Not only that but the tracking on that move appeared better to me than it was in Dissidia. Again I don't play Kefka, but I heard before that Forsaken Null wasn't really a popular hp move previously. Now it seems like it's a lot more effective.

Dunno, I could be wrong since I don't play him, but he was looking really good! Anybody have more insight on everybody's favorite world-destroying joker?

Trine Comes out faster and when the Triangles Converge, they no longer overlap. They just stop.

I don't really feel that havoc wings got any faster nor do I think it's priority is any better{nor does it need to be because it's priority is good and its speed is workable}. However, it does in fact have better range now and that makes it much easier to both combo into and to trick your opponent to being hit by it and potentially as a out of nowhere counter.

Hyperdrive doesn't seem any different to me and if it is it doesn't really matter because it's not really a useful move anywau.

Forsaken Null is indeed better, but I don't think its attack capabilities increased. To me it seems better as a getaway move than it is one used for attack. Though it could prove useful in EX mode given how the move hones in on the opponent and how many other projectiles you could throw out.
