Heres a little somethin,g nothing about the his attacks but, people playing as Kefka should not worry about their assist to much, your spammage of his attacks can give you a single full bar within 5 -8 attacks.

Yep I noticed that as well, his WWF > SSB gives almost one full gauge, then simply dashing to the enemy boosts it slightly in the case of dashing in to use WWF > Havoc Wing, the problem is how to best utilize Ultimecia as an assist.

Just want to comment on the new SSB since I've been training with Kefka and also faced against him often in the original DFF.

SSB's fast start up speed allows for dodge punishment. The problem in the past is that some characters could still go through the SSB by attacking right after their dodge (ie. Squall's Heel Crush), and go through the attack and punish him simultaneously.

Despite the SSB still reflecting back at the opponent, the stagger on SSB now allows this move to shine for what it should be. This attack can no longer be blocked and punished like in DFF--only blocked. And due to its guard stagger, it has higher priority than most brave attacks, so most of the characters will no longer be able to cover their dodge with a brave attack; they will still get hit by the SSB.

With this significant buff, Kefka can use this attack both as a defensive and an offensive maneuver, especially with the new mechanics of the game. Without the infinite jumps in the air, Kefka will have an easier time punishing dodges, which will give him opportunities to land the wandering WWF, which will lead to many other different opportunities.

Yes, SSB can go right through Sephiroth's Godspeed, wondering about Blade Beam for Cloud and some others.

To boost SSB's effectiveness, it has amazing hit stun, hitting someone in the air almost always lets the attack connect with all the other shards, then after that, they are left wide open for a WWF.

Yes, SSB can go right through Sephiroth's Godspeed, wondering about Blade Beam for Cloud and some others.

It'll be the same as with WWF. All physical attacks with medium or higher priority will go right through the SSB without any resistance. The physical part of the Blade Beam will have no problem reflecting the SSB back at Kefka.
