Army of One > Lightning is not situational, testing it with midair evasion boost+adamant chains and i have got enough range to do it consistantly anywhere on the map, its slightly more strict than jechts link, and the pay off is a ton of exforce. in one assist combo you are looking at filling 40%, more so if you summon jecht mid thunder, dc and do 2 more bolts only to follow up with another AoO > Thunder.
I saw Aether using Thundaga in the air, how does that work? Is it just because he was close to the ground or is there some trick to it?

Granted, it's impossible to use a ground move in the air unless something gets bugged. What you saw might have been him standing on something that then got destroyed, leaving Thundaga sitting in the air.

I think Lightning is one of the best characters that can keep a combo going if you time everything perfect and shes a great character all around that can actually go up against anybody . . . except Exdeath -_-

This is more like a "what's possible" showcase for Lightning (and other characters) than a practical one.

My favorite part, incidentally, is not the loop, but the first combo. If you look closely in that combo, a case can be made that Golbez's Attack System as an assist probably inflicts slightly longer hit-stun than if he does it as a player character. That, or Blizzara (or maybe the absorb effect in general) can slightly extend a hit-stun's duration from the previous attack that connected against the opponent.

Rav THunder 2nd hit > Sephy > Thunderfall
smite 2nd hit > Sehy > THunderFall
Blizzara > THunderFall (has to floorrush) > Sephy, Kuja, Aerith > thunderFall
aero > Sephy, Kuja, Cecil > ThunderFall
flourish of steel > Kuja, Sephy, Cecil > thunderFall
Fire > Smite > Sephy, Kuja > Thunderfall = this can be done with cecil also if timed correctly
I use alot more than that, this is just off the top of my head. Also alot of these combos can be used with Jecht.
