This thread is to ascertain the usefulness of assists to Exdeath.
To begin, let me begin by saying that I know how useful assists are in general, what with the making of the combos and such. However, what I want opinions on is the following question:
Should Exdeath use one of his Brave Air attack slots on a generally craptastic and laggy move just for the ability to build the Assist Gauge?
My personal opinion is that Exdeath should stick with RP and two Guards. Limiting yourself to either High Block or Omni Block is just silly, in my opinion.

IIRC Exdeath guard moves build up the assist gauge too, so does his Hp attacks. I remember fighting fighting an Exdeath in Prolougs that kept using Almagest>High guard and used assists pretty often.

It seems like every time I fight Exdeath, he never gets a chance to build up his assists. This is where this question came from.

RP does little to nothing for the assist gauge.
