They like to toy with fans big speculations as we all know. Remember Ultimecia's exclusive weapons in Dissidia. And as XIII-2's teaser has already generated a lot of interrogations, I wouldn't be surprised if they exploit Duo to give a clue or two. Plus, there is an obvious vying between Lightning and that other guy, they would've made perfect antagonists in Dissidia.

But that's for XIII-2. Would it even apply to Duodecim?

My point was that you would see Cid, with his XIII's appearance in Duo, who would "inform" you about his XIII-2's relative. You won't see the later in Duo since that would've been a spoiler (moves, lines, etc.), pretty much as for the same reason they didn't want to include Noctis.

Perhaps because this is a Duo's speculation in the Duo's discussion subforum? Some of our hypothesis wouldn't be as much esteem-able as the others? You can't blame everyone to go with his/her grain of salt, as crazy as it could seem to be sometimes. These are more expectations and fantasies than actual in-depth and rational "studies" anyway, meant just for the sake to kill time before the release.

I'm sorry but that person in the screenshot IS without a doubt Warrior of Light. Infact the screenshots Rissole posted confirmed to me that they're not the same person. (And no, they're not similar either.)

Because otherwise it would clutter the speculation thread? Which in turn would make wading through the thread for real information more frustrating? The thread is serving its purpose, so no real reason to get rid of it. ^^;
