If the secret scene was anything to go by, it sort of is.
There are no YouTube videos on it & the rest of the internet is being dumb. Even the KH Wiki has nothing but an empty article nominated for deletion. It's like some kind of weird information blackout.

Interesting. With the exception of the statement "volume 2," I wouldn't say any of that points to a new game. Although Nomura DID say he'd get around to the story of Mickey in the World of Darkness eventually. This could logically be a "Part 2," since Aqua will probably be involved. And hey, maybe we'll get an explanation for how in the world the fight with the Unknown is canon, & what it is.
pertaining to the topic, I was quite confused by the general direction of this whole cutscene. I mean the make up of it made it seem like a profound revelation was uncovered, some huge reveal stemming throughout the whole series and would make one go "OF COURSE!!", but in truth it was just rehashing things we more or less we already know...

Prequals are funny like that. That's why I said it doesn't scream "new game" very well, except for the "Volume 2." If it weren't for that, I could easily write this off as, "Trying to set up Kingdom Hearts III."
