I'm posting it because after all these years I'm still in love with this show.
Samurai Jack was a cartoon network original that ran until 2004.
It's basic plot was about a Samurai (who dons the name Jack) being thrown into a future completely ruled by his nemesis Aku. He seeks a way to travel back in time to stop Aku from ever taking over.
It was created by Genndy Tartakovsky (he also created Dexter's Lab)
Well known for its myriad of musical and artistic styles used in 52 episodes, and the plots that were sometimes in depth, other times very comedic. I highly recommend it to anyone that has never heard of it.
Sad we never got an ending? Good news, a feature length animated production is currently in pre-pro. the producer? J.J. Abrams (Lost, Cloverfield, Star Trek)
Hopefully this will finally end the series with a conclusion instead of the weird cliff-hanger that was a angry baby.
So do you miss the show? Or what did you guys like about it?

Never watched it before, but I played the games that were on the Cartoon Network site. They were great fun.
Maaaan, this is nostalgia. It's been a long time so I don't remember much, but I do remember that I totally loved this show. Endless props for making me remember

Ah, yes, Samurai Jack. How I miss the days I used to sit mesmerized as you sliced through man-sized beetle machines like they were paper and got soaked in oil.

I loved that show. Even though I didn't sit down and watch it chronologically, I really enjoyed it whenever I caught it on TV. The cinematography (random things like deliberate color schemes and camera cuts) was surprisingly sophisticated (and surprisingly varied from episode to episode), and I remembered being quite impressed. I do look forward to that feature length animation too, Samurai Jack needs its proper ending!
