It might be a bad nerf, but it balances her better. Nothing was worse than getting 2 shotted by Shantotto in ex mode just by them having about 3.5-4k BRV and getting EX Bursted.
Manafont in XI made Black Magic spells cost 0MP right? Maybe we can continue down this line and have Manafont decrease BRV limits to ascend tiers EVEN MORE, like 1000 for Tier 2, 2500 for Tier 3? Or scrap the scale altogether and allow her to use Tier 3 spells without fulfilling limits.
Of course, this idea is highly unlikely to be even heard of, let alone considered, so it's all just theorycrafting. However, I think this version of Manafont would do her EX Mode more justice than what she currently has - a bonus so bland that it can almost be said that she doesn't have a bonus. It might be useful when you just landed an HP hit with 4k+ BRV, but really. Without DFF Manafont, when will a HP chipper like her ever get that high BRV often enough to make it worthwhile? :/
However, that said, she really seems better at her chainspelling than she ever did in DFF. Seriously, I ended HP chains with poorly-chained Blizzard spells to give AIs time to dodge out of it (What? I liked racking up BRV and using her flashy tier 3's ). In general, she's been buffed heavily, and SE did a good job of reworking her attacks (bar Manafont, of course -.-). She'll be a basket of fun, moreso than in DFF. I can't wait to try her out.

The upside of her chainspell HP links is that Assist changing out of the spells is a guessing game. If someone Assist Changes too early, the next spell in the list can and will spawn on them and let you continue uninterrupted. I'm not sure on how much delay you can put between spells, but that would be something to test, I think.
Just because I couldn't find any other videos of her.
So has it be confirmed that you can't combo Stun into HP attacks? Or is it still worth attempting?
I believe Stun can combo into Aero, I got caught in it once, but it would be nice if someone could confirm that it works.
Stun is the move that cancels opponents attacks right? If so it can now chain into hp attacks, this is so that its not pointless

I'd like to point out another change to Bind: While the spell's tracking is a little better, landing the spell will no longer cause hitstun (the enemy won't flinch as if they've been hit). So chainbind is no longer possible to prevent an opponent from taking action.
