Tricks for getting KP, AP [Quick Guide]

NOTE: this method uses tricks/exploits and will take the fun or challenge away.

tl;dr : beating a dungeon as Lv1 with 5x KP Bonus.

Below are the details on how to do and how to maximize the result.

Here are what you need to do for this tricks:
Step 0
You need to have at least beat 012 storyline and can play Scenario 000: Confessions of the Creator.

Step 1
5x Map skill "KPアップ" (KP Bonus), it doubles your current AP.
You should have found some in treasure chests before. But in fact you can buy it from the Cornelia Moogle! It is the very first Moogle you see when you start Chapter 000. If you are playing the game on your Special Day, like almost everyone, you should only see a pebble in the shop list. But it will sell some limited items on the next 2 days of Special Days, for example, my Special Day is Friday, the moogle will have limited items on Saturday and Sunday. (You may wanna grab the 聖天使アルテマ Ultima the High Seraph summon stone as well). Anyway, it only sells 1 for each day. So save and exit, and set your PSP to another day, go back in, buy KP Bonus again. Repeat until you have 5.

EDIT: The KP Bonus should be unlocked after you have earned about 2100KP (earned, not saved).

Step 2
You may wonder why getting 5x KP Bonus, without those chains, the KP we get is so little even with a lot of double AP. Here our "seed" is from the "KP bonus line". Enter a dungeon as Lv1 will give you the suggested LV difference as KP, this is our main source. Then how to beat the dungeon as Lv1 easily? There are quite a few ways, but mostly come from the Original Rule Set. There are 2 recommanded ways:

2a)
EXフォース吸収量 (EX force absorption) > max

激突ダメージ (Wall Rush damage) > max
other settings do not matter much
Then equip your character with:
フォースを勇気 (EX Force to Brave) (note: I got his from an Mission/Accomplishment fairly early in the game, forgot which one)

真珠のネックレス (Pearl Necklace) with some multipliers

You should know how that works . For me, I put an fast attack that starts Chase, when battle starts: dash > attack > chase > HP attack > end. Just retry if anything goes wrong.

2b)
make use of Iai strike. Put up the Smiting Soul accessory along with some 1.5 boosters (eg. not equip weapons/hands/head/body..)
This method works great when fighting higher Lv enemies as you know they have higher starting BRV, so your Iai Strike earn you more. Not to mention the boosters "Enemy is XX Lv higher" have higher value.

Step 3
To Maximize the result: obviously this trick yields better the later in the game, higher lv dungeon = higher Lv bonus line = higher starting KP. And there are Moogle Statue in some dungeons, when clicking on them, the silver Statue doubles your KP (= using KP Bonus), and the gold Statue triples your KP. But it still gives very good result in early game.
For example, do it in the a dungeon with 50 bonus line, do the maths:
50 x2 x2 x2 x2 x2 = 1600
you get 1600 KP even if you failed ALL KP chance on all enemies.

At mid game, you can try this in Gabranth's dungeon, which has a Silver Moogle Statue:
starting KP = 79, x32 (5 KP Bonus), x2 (statue) = 5056KP (again this is minimum)
This dungeon has 5 floors so it will take longer.
IIRC, when I did this, I got close to 8k.

And at late game, it is suggested to it in the Dragon King dungeon "竜王のひずみ", which has a silver statue + a gold one! I haven't tried this one yet. And this dungeon has 10 floors.
starting KP 99, x32, x2, x3 = 19008 KP minimum
you can get up to 26000+ if completed most KP chance.

The dungeon at the north eastern island "神に見捨てられた地", has 2x silver statue + 1 gold statue. Recommanded to use the Iai strike method as the KP chance for this is to Break you opponent within 60 sec. You could get 53000+ KP if completed all KP chances.

AGAIN: this method uses tricks/exploits and will take the fun or challenge away.

Equips/ Accessories you would like to have: (not essential, but obviously the more the better)
Equips
Diamond set equips = +100% AP
Accessories
マネキネコ (Beckoning Cat ) = +100% AP
ダイヤの指輪 (Diamond Ring) = +400% AP, Breakability 100%
ダイヤのネックレス (Diamond Necklace) = +200% AP, Breakability 100%
ダイヤのピアス (Diamond Earring) = +100% AP, Breakability 100%
The English names maybe off since I dun have the EU/NA version XD
Now this gives you a total of +900% AP = x10

In case you dunno how to get those Diamond accessories, here's how I got mine, there maybe more ways to obtain though, dun worry, you just need 1 of each :
Diamond Ring: chest in story mode
Diamond Necklace: Reward of Arcade - Standard Mode (5x battles one) - Normal difficulty
Diamond Earring: Reward of Arcade - Quick Mode (3x battles one)

英雄の精神 (Hero's Spirit ) x2 + 英雄の真髄(Hero's Essence) for more CP to equip more skills.

Set your PSP to your Special day or any day with the +AP bonus, with the max AP+3 bonus.

Now go to Scenario 000: Confessions of the Creator and enter the Second dungeon when you first play through this mode. The name of the dungeon should be 聖と邪の交わるひずみ (Gateway of Good and Evil) Once inside, right below (south) your starting grid is a "アクセサリ保護" (Accessory Protection) crest with 2 enemy pieces next to it. Fighting on this crest will NOT break any accessory. Therefore, kill the 2 enemies, save and exit, re-enter... repeat.

Each battle should give you 40/50/60/70 AP depends on what AP chance you get.

wow, thank you so much i've been looking for something like this....and it would be even greater if it would actually work for me T_T

my problem: on my special day the first moogle in story 000 has everything he always has....and the day after as well (dusty elixirs and stuff) what am i doing wrong =/ ?

@jugun: i only encountered those with no numbers in it, those mean "kp on win" . the ones with 90 mean, that you have to win in 90 seconds and the ones ith 60 mean brv break in 60 seconds. but i bet there are more than those three but i haven't dived into story 000 yet.

@Jugun Basically there are only 3 types of KP chances:
バトルに勝利 = just win the battle
XX秒以内に勝利 = win within XX sec
XX秒以内にブレイブBREAK = Break your opponent within XX sec

@basi567 Sorry I don't quite understand what you mean. Does the Cornelia Moogle sell Limited Items on your special day and the day after? If so that's not a problem at all, buy the KP Up skill there
In case the info I got was wrong, you could change your PSP date to test it out which days will give you the Limited items.

i have tried evey damn day...including the special day and the two days afterwards and there are exclusive items, yes, but no KP up...there is only "banish death" as a limited skill, "before ex mode" and "dusty elixir" as limited acc/items....oh and the pebble of course. no kp up for me...i am desperate here >_< (i found one kp up in a treasure chest...but that's it) do i have to finish something in order to buy kp up?!

Need help! I have (EX Force to Brave) and the only thing I dont have is (EX force absorption).
But I dont seem to get that many brave (9999 in one attack to HP attack?).
Has anyone tried this out yet? I just can't seem to get it work out. Even with many of the suggested multipliers. I dont get 9999 brv in just one hit.... >.> Any help or tips?

1) Have you adjusted and used an Original Rule which has EX Force Absorption set to Max? if it is used, a single EX particle you absorb will give you 300 BRV.
2) What attacks you are using? Wall rush attacks now produce very little or even none EX force. You need to use attacks that have Chase to generate enough EX force for you.

can I use original rules IN 000 story mode? I could do a almost 9999 HP attack in free mode 1v1. using the original rule.
Can I also do that in story mode? I can no where find the option to change into my rule?
