Default Duodecim Unlockables, Tips, and Tricks

I figured that there will be those who will search the forums endlessly on how to unlock or achieve certain things, how to beat bosses, how to level up easily, etc. So, let's combine it all here into one guide.

First off, let me lay out a couple RULES. If you're posting about something that is unlockable by some secret achievement, please put it in Spoilers. This will prevent those who want to figure out a way to beat something (such as level 140 characters easily) but don't want to know what the reward is (ruins the fun for some). Therefore, everything I post that is unlockable will be in spoilers. Tricks and tips will not be however.

If the English version varies slightly from JP version, then this guide will be extended.

    Unlockable Characters:
    Spoiler:

    Feral Chaos
    Spoiler:

To unlock Desperado Chaos: you must complete Dissidia Duodecim 012's story mode and unlock "Confessions of the Creator" in this story scenario, you must complete Shantotto's and Gabranth's Dungeons, and then find Desperado Chaos (1)'s dungeon, you will fight D.Chaos at 58,000+ hp. AFter you defeat him, the second half of the world map will be unlocked, after this, go to the very top left of the world map in an area of volcano's you should see about 5-6 dungeons in a row, don't worry, each one is only one floor, as long as you follow the GUARD RAILS, you will eventually make it to a volcano, inside the 5 floor dungeon, is Desperado chaos, he has Garland as an assist and 125,598 hp, defeat him and he will be available to buy in the PP shop.

    Prishe:
    Spoiler:
To unlock Prishe: you must complete Dissidia Duodecim's 012 story mode, and complete duodecim's 013 story mode (light to all, all scenario's) and her scenario should be unlocked, complete her scenario and she will be available to buy in the PP shop

EASY VERSION: Go to Reports, and go to report 8, page 2, there should be some blue text, press square, highlighting the blue text, then x to select it, an option to fight with shantotto should come up, and a cutscene will follow, defeat gabranth with shantotto and prishe will be available in the pp shop.

    Gilgamesh:
    Spoiler:
To unlock Gilgamesh: you must complete Dissidia Duodecim's 012 story mode, and complete duodecim's 013 story mode (light to all, all scenario's) and his scenario should be unlocked, complete his scenario and he will be available to buy in the PP shop

EASY VERSION: Go to Reports, and go to report 8, after completing the shantotto vs prishe fight (you dont need to beat the next fight, prishe vs garland, you can forfeit and it will still move on) watch the cutscene the next page, and continue until you get to the blue text with the option to play as bartz, defeat gilgamesh as bartz and Gilgamesh will be available int he pp shop.[/QUOTE]

    Tips and Tricks:

    Quick EXP Guide:
    Spoiler:

Easier Leveling Method for Original Characters*:
    Spoiler:
*only to those who own the original Dissidia: Final Fantasy.
Although this information is somewhat minor, it is MUCH faster to powerlevel characters on the original Dissida that in Duodecim. Just to compare, it may take as little as one battle to reach from level 1 to level 100 if all conditions are met. It may take up to 20 battles in Duodecim to reach an ideal level. In addition, some accessories are much easier to obtain in Dissidia than Duodecim, so if you're having trouble with an original accessory, get it from Dissidia first before transferring it to a new game.
In Prologus, there are items you may receive that will automatically level up a character 1 level after completing achievements. If you're having trouble with those last couple levels in Duodecim, check for these items, as they will come in handy under that condition. (They are the equivalent of chocobo cologne)
these methods are really only a last resort.

    Tips for Beating Scenario 000

    Spoiler:
Most people will typically go from scenario to scenario. Since 000 is quite a step up, some people have trouble. Some dungeons have level 30 enemies; however, you soon come across level 90+ dungeons. To combat these enemies more easily, at a low level, resort to the posts on this thread on the build to use against the higher levels:
    http://dissidiaforums.com/search.php?searchid=57874
This will not only get you past the higher levels, but also past the level 130 Feral Chaos at the end. To see a method of beating the final 150k HP Chaos, please visit this thread:

Updated slightly. Tips (such as defeating Desperado) would be nice from the players. Just throwin' that out there.

Many thanks for posting all this information. Will it be updated with unlockable stages and BGM? I played though the Japanese one a bit but I didn't touch story mode, so I didn't unlock anything.

excellent thread. it is still missing 1 thing, tho: how to obtain those pesky elixirs (all types) and where to get the most elusive trade components.
