With the release of Duodecim so close, and with the news that we won't have access to wireless hosting server (Mog Web) for our Quests, we'll have to resort to something that in all honesty is much easier than Mog Web
First things first, here's stuff that you'll need.
- PSP with Duodecim - to make Quests on
- USB Cable - To connect your PSP to your Computer
- Winrar Archiver - To zip/unzip Quests (Click the link to download it)
Now, I'll teach you how to upload a Quest you've created onto the site in twelve easy steps (with pictures!). Follow the steps and then people will have access to all your great creations!
Step Zero would obviously be to have created and saved a Quest onto your memory stick, of course, but then...
STEP 1
Connect your PSP to your computer with the USB cord (one from a PS3 controller or webcam probably also works). When it's plugged in, a PSP menu should show up similar to this...
...This is your memory stick, which holds pretty much all of your data. Select the PSP folder to continue.
STEP 2
Inside the PSP folder, you should see something similar to this...
...so select the SAVEDATA folder to continue...
STEP 3
This folder holds every single piece of data that would be considered save data. You'll also see any replays you have here. Find the Quest you made amongst the files by looking at the last portion of the name "quest" will be on there, along with that quest's line in your data menu when looking at the Quests in Duodecim. This one has 00 at the end, meaning it's the very first one I would see on the list...
...copy that file - the Quest Data - onto your desktop (for convenience), and then you can unplug our PSP from your computer - you're done with the PSP as of now.
STEP 4
Find the Quest Data on your desktop, and then right click over it to bring up this menu...
...if you downloaded Winrar (which you should have), select that Add to archive... tab.
STEP 5
Here, you can name your .zip file, something to do with your quest would be best, for easier reference for everyone. Just below that you'll see the "Archive Format" tab, like so...
...make sure you click the ZIP selection, as .zip files are the ones compatible with what we're doing. When you're all set, click the OK button to "let 'er ZIP!"...heh heh...
STEP 6
Heeeey~ We all know what this is...
...it's the Create A New Thread window here on DF! Make a new thread to house all your Original Quests you create. If you want, start by putting down a description for your Quest to entice people to play it. HOWEVER! Don't submit your thread just yet!
STEP 7
Scroll down past the Edit Window until you reach those options at the bottom that you rarely ever probably look at...
...find the Attachments menu, and click on the Manage Attachments tab to open up a new, but smaller sub-window.
STEP 8
This new sub-window is the most important part, because this is how you get the Quest you made onto the site, so pay close attention...
...clicking on the +Add Files tab in the top-right corner will open up a menu just below it. Click on the Select Files tab to bring up a menu where you can select that zipped Quest Data you made.
STEP 9
Once the file is uploaded, it should look like this...
...from here click the Upload Files option to upload the Quest Data to the forum's database.
STEP 10
This will add the Quest to your uploads (which can also be viewed at your Visitor Page). Now click on your Quest, and drag it into the bar at the bottom, like so...
It may take a moment, but then it will show up down there. The little Insert Inline tab will also show the number of files put into that bar, which should read one, for the Quest you put in. Click that Insert Inline (1) tab to insert the link into the Edit Window.
STEP 11
Back on the Edit Window for the Create A New Thread page, you should see this...
...that number surrounded by ATTACH is the link for your Quest Data. Continue with any other edits you think you need to make, and then when you're all set, submit your thread for viewing!
STEP 12
When someone looks at the thread, they'll see it like this...
...with the link for your Original Quest right there, followed by the description. Feel free to organize them however you want, but this is the basic layout you should have.
Anyone who wants to play your Quest just has to click the link to save the .zip file, unzip it with Winrar, and then load it onto their memory stick in the SAVEDATA folder. From their they boot up Duodecim, head to Creations, and can play your Quest.
NOTICEFor some unfathomable reason that will forever be a mystery to everyone except the ass-hats at Square-Enix, the US, EU, and JP versions are not cross-region compatible. This means that any Quest you create will only be available for play by anyone who has the same version as you. I apologize for the inconvenience, but we can still make Quests and upload them, and we've still got the Mission Room, which will always be region-free.

Oh yeah! Belts, you rock! I was thinking of doing something almost exactly like this when I saw you couldn't easily transfer quests to another - an unfortunate flaw in this game - but then you go and post up a nice looking guide with pictures and everything. You're too good at what you do, man.
Thanks mang n.n

I was gonna end up doing something like this anyway since I can't get online, but it seems the idiot gears at SE are in full force today, so thanks for the guide. I've got a bunch of awesome quests on the way for everyone to enjoy - the first one's script is already done.
Dude, You are a legend. I can finally upload this darn quest I have been wanting to upload for 3 days now. Which, keeps failing.

now that we know quests are region-locked, it is worthy to point out also a method for converting them...

doubtful, tbh. but it's definitely worth a try to at least pointing it out. otherwise it would be a tremendous waste.

Hi, I'm new around here, really only joined to download quests and possibly upload my own when I get the NA version of the game...
Anyways, I was wondering. Since Mog Web is (apparently) not in the game, will this only work for quests, or will we be able to upload friend cards as well...?
