Cross-Region Compatibility Online Petition

"This is a petition by the entire Dissidia community for the request of a cross-region compatibility patch for Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy for the PlayStation Portable.

Some may know that the American and European versions of the game cannot play online, exchange Friend Cards, or even download Original Quests between one another, something that is highly confusing given that the first game in the series allowed for online play and Friend Card swapping between the two regions.

The lack of cross-region compatibility greatly hinders the growth of the game's fanbase and community, as some of the largest communities span people from all regions of the world, and to segregate them is unreasonable."

Actually, can you edit the description of the petition? Might as well ask for mogweb as a whole while you're at it.

Let's just hope an internet petition actually gets their attention and garners a response. Even if such a simple patch would be doable within minutes by their designers, knowing corporate companies, this may just get passed on like trash.

Always good to try and hope, though.

Seems that way, so far.

Quest Data doesn't transfer between the two.

And so far, people are already raging that they can't connect :s

Online petitions do not work. Game companies don't bother reading online petitions. Make an actual petition instead.

What's the point of this anyways? The game has been made and released. All this is going to do now is cause another version of the game to come out and make Square waste money so it will not happen. Don't waste your breath.

As I've said in the past: US and EU Dissidia did not actually allow Cross Compatibility except on American Ad-Hoc Party. It would not work when two PSPs were actually together on on the EU Ad-Hoc Party.

I should inform also that technically the US and EU versions of Duodecim are not even meant to be released yet. So posting this petition is just going to annoy SE even more.

Yakuza 3 begs to differ, SEGA completely gave up on that franchise outside of Japan but enough people managed to voice their support through online petitions that they finally decided to localise it and it's sequel for Europe and NA, even going as far as to state that the online petitions were one of the factors influencing their decision.

If enough of the fanbase voices their support, it's possible.

I also said 'Mostly' and I even stated some companies will. SE have never though.
