So, with the release of 012, I've taken a shine to using Cecil again. However, my charger broke while I was out buying the game, so I haven't had much time to play. So this is where you guys come in. What do you think? Dark Knight of Paladin. Which is better in your eyes?
Well, I've been playing for quite a long time now so I think I'll chime in.

Dark Knight is less useful in my opinion but not by much. It has some awesome moves but they all have flaws.
Valiant Blow is pretty much DK's best move because of how fast/powerful it is. Nightfall also rivals this. Shadow Lance has the ability to break guards but only when close; like really close. I never really find it useful. Dark Cannon has become more useful seeing as it chains onto any of Cecil's ground attacks (including SoulEater; I have done it a multitude of times so there XD) but it really needs assistance from assists to use properly.
For HP attacks Shadowbringer is a brilliant defensive move but it's hard to use that way. I personally quite like using it in assist combinations. Souleater isn't so useful either as Shadowbringer seems to do it's job better, even with the decreased range. Dark Flame speaks for itself. Terrible unless you plan on hitting something above you, otherwise brilliant.
Paladin is nicer if you ask me, although I prefer to use Shadowbringer over LS nowadays. Radiant Wings is brilliant for getting BRV and starting combos but Cross is more reliable imo. Searchlight is awesome for comboing in Paladin Force and generally makes up most of my HP attacks (also great for opening up combos with Gilgamesh > Shadowbringer/SoulEater). Saints Fall is a good move for getting everything and everyone out of the way quickly but is otherwise fairly useless.
Luminous Shard /is/ cooler than Shadowbringer imo but it leaves you so defenceless and is so easily dodged and just turns out to be an... eh... move.
