I find it more beneficial (most of the time) to Lancet before the assist chase then chase and use Rising Drive, though.
This. Double Lancet is just to... well... it just connects...

Double Lancet is USELESS you mean :P At most you'll be draining whatever it is that Kuja hit for (which shouldn't be much more than 100-200 BRV at most depending on crits). Why waste the low BRV you have on another Lancet when you can pour in more crits with Rising Drive?

If I really need the HP in a drawn out fight, I'll just hop and do half of Lance Barrage then Lancet for the big number at the end of the assist.

I've also taken a liking to ground Wall Rush (either through Jump or Crashing Dive) and, using the same idea as the Lancet combo above, throw either Jump (after Jump) or Dragon Fang (dodge cancelling so that the opponent either hits the wall or the floor) then following the assist chase for Rising Drive. Hyne was the first person to show me this idea outside of Lancet.

I usually get Kuja's groung assist with a Jump or Lance Barrage launching downward near the floor. Yea Crashing Dive can get you an easy floor rush, but you will hardly need to floor rush. I keep Cyclone to build assist and to keep my aerial position. When I play grounged is when I'm looking for a Lancet...which will also be rarely needed, but still good to have the option.

    To sum...my personel optimum...Crashing Dive probably wouldn't suffice in Kain's meta-game.

Indeed. Plus to solve the low bravery issue just use that summon Madonga or what ever to get it back to base value.

OT:I corrupted my whole memory stick with my dissidia 012 save file. Now i can't even format it. Pity plz?

Is it your vid? =) It was cool, although just a suggestion: since Gungnir takes a lot a frames to start, the opponent could have a chance to Dodge it, I call it 40-60. That's why I suggest using the Assist Chase as a "stun" to connect Gungnir easily. At least for Snatch Blow I'd do it that way; with Strike Energy is another story. Basically this is the formula: Jump/DF/SR/CD-> Assist-> Jump to match the height after AC-> Gungnir.

Also, if you manage to be at a higher spot after Assist, you can do Cyclone-> Gungnir.

I guess I'll do a video for this...

Well... Is easy to connect those attacks, That was against a friend that helped me show that combo, we where just toying, anyway, you just have to wait a little after the X of the assist chace shows, because if you do it sooner, the opponent will be way to hi above you, if you take to long the opponent can just dodge it, just wait about 1 or 2 seconds after the assist X, and try it, I didn't have time to upload this because I was on college finals, but I always knew that kuja assist chace and gungnir where posible, and I still prefer dragon fang, because of the assist change, anyway, I hope this helps (=
