Same here, I'm practicing the combos right now, and I can hit the opponent with the assist after rise wave 6 out of10 times or so

Ah hah!! I was playing around with the combos some more and I dunno why this didn't click before, but the link glitch does not require you to use float/gravity system. You can in fact also use glare hand and rise wave as well to either charge up a cosmic ray OR charge up his magic burst which can then lead to wall rush and continue the second assist.
If you cast gravity force high enough in the air and far enough away, you have enough time to land on the ground (you're practically on the ground when you smack them anyways) and quickly cast glare hand or rise wave and charge magic burst or cosmic ray.
I've been hopelessly trying to hit the opponent with the dark flame from rise wave while they are still in the grav force ball but there is hardly enough time and it won't give you that much more brave. And I suggest using glare hand over rise wave because it's faster and easier to combo into I found.
But now that I realize this glitch will work with those other two attacks, you can stock pile for one big HP attack or you can use the current method and hit with 2 HP attacks (one with your current brave, and the second hitting for around inital brave).
Huzah!! (side note: Prima Vista is absolute heaven for Golbez. If there is one map where he will dominate it's this one)
Here's the replay, excuse the fail moments as I was playing around trying to get these combos to work. The spamming and what not was just to set up conditions for the combo hence grav force spamming. Was trying to show the mid air grav force assist in doing so.
Here are the time periods where the combos are performed or fragments of them at least (stupid ai...)
0:18-0:44 , 1:05-1:18 , 1:29-1:50 , 2:00-2:10 , 3:30-3:45 , 3:45-4:00 , 4:03- 4:10 , 4:55-5:35

A combo I typically use once my assist gauge is totally filled up is:
Attack System>Glare Hand> Lightning (smite)>Rise Wave>Cosmic Ray>WallRush> Lightning (smite)>Gravity Force>Float System>Cosmic Ray.
Although now that I think about it, the Cosmic Ray>WallRush>Gravity Force>Float System>Cosmic Ray can be repeated ad infinity on stages like Phantom Train as long as you have a high enough booster for your assist accessories.

No you cast rise wave while they are still being eaten by the gravity force orb. Rise wave flame won't affect them and by the time their invincibility frames wear off, rise wave is already gone. Although[ I guessif you delay the rise wave cast to the last second itcouldworks, they will dodge out of the plume and the second they do you hit em with Cosmic Ray.They will still try to avoid cosmic ray though but if you time it right you can get em or snag em with assist. It works in tight spaces and near walls the best, open areas are a tad iffy.
If the opponent dodges your cosmic ray you can counter that with your second assist. You pretty much the to call the assist the moment you teleport in their face because that's when they tend to dodge.
Although since you can charge up the magic burst of rise wave and glare hand instead of cosmic ray, you can bait a block. Since the magic burst is blockable, I've had the enemy block me instead of dodge. By the time you can you teleport in their face to affect them your assist meter is usable again so you can kind put them in a bind. They may block and stagger you, but your assist will already be out to punish them. By the time you're done recovering you can carry on with the assault.
Still requires some good timing, but I've pulled it off a few times and is a pretty decent pressure tool. Although the down side is that they might block your assist too or dodge it all..or assist change. Some characters and counter it though with some of their skills though so it can be pretty iffy.

about the rise wave throwing the opponent to the ceiling:
in your las video, seraph, i noticed that you delay the magic burst of rise wave, when you do that, and send the opponent flying to the purple flames, it throws the opponent to the ceiling, but, if you only tap the magic burst instead of holding it for a little bit, it won't throw the opponent to the ceiling like in the video, that is preety awesome!!
I tested it right now is so AWESOME!!!
after the first hit of rise wave, if you just tap the o button , it won't send the opponent towards the ceiling, but, if you hold it for like a second, it Will throw the opponent to the ceiling!!!

Yea I found that out shortly after the video lol. At first I thought it was the inverse and that if you do rise wave slower they wouldn't go as high and faster would send em flying. Turned out it was the other way around lol which ain't bad at all.
The ceiling rush version is really good for low ceiling areas like prima vista so it guarantees an assist hit. But thankfully now that we know that (fast)Rise Wave puts em in the sweet spot, it makes landing that air assist so much more easy. I've had no troubles landing an assist attack with Jecht after I sorted that out.
