I think if you would try landing Aeris off RP outside of punish situations, you would see where I'm coming from. For instance, I have an Exdeath CPU (Maximum, Survivor, must have killing brave, Phantom Train) set up that can dodge out of it/Delta Attack/Almagest on random RP -> Seal Evil. In punish situations, I know I'm going to hit, so I can input the assist right after I let go of O. No need to see the hit if I know it's going to happen. But in random hit situations, it takes too long to confirm the hit and he can just dodge out. If you can do it consistently on random hits, great. I cannot.

Also, I didn't see Dart do the random RP -> Seal Evil in any of his Exdeath replays on youtube. And believe me, I looked. "Dart exdeath", "DartEX exdeath", "Dart4210 exdeath" (without quotes, obviously :P) got me a ton of videos to watch. I went through them and checked all the ones where he used Aeris as an assist. Didn't see it happen once. Actually, I didn't even see him do it in punish situations because all his opponents stayed away from the ceiling in those few matches, for the most part.

Hm, I'll concede on that part then. My memory may be off (I'm pretty sure he's done it fine with me when I've played him, but that was months ago). How about Yuna or another ranged priority assist then? I know for a fact RP > Heavenly Strike > Delta Attack works pretty well and should be pretty lenient, since Yuna's assist has such a speedy startup.

Yuna will work for random RP > Ceiling for sure, but it requires you to be pretty close :S

However what Bloodsword means is those "unexpected situations" in which your pretty unsure if your attacks
will Wall Rush, like "oh look, my Counter-Algamest wall rushed this time" in which using Aeris' assist early for the Rush and having it not work due to odd shaped walls etc. could be dangerous, as she is very lockable after.

For those situations, I'd use Kuja as well tbh : /

I'm not saying prediction can't be done, I'm saying it's risky/situational.
