In what? He didn't win the doubles, that was mostly Kain.

Plus, the difficulty of playing the character has nothing to do with it. People wont play a character that they haven't mastered(or atleast got really good as) in a tournament. And even then, 1 tournament is not sufficient evidence, especially this early on. After 4 or 5 maybe, but not 1 or 2.

You were oblivious to my post which stated the tournament was held in Russia. Just yesterday, to be exact.

Aside from being difficulty, the ones who play Exdeath are also susceptible to mistakes, and there are plenty of factors which influence that. I speak of bad - timed blocks, for instance, or being mindgamed by their opponents.

You should really watch Ehx or Kraid play before saying that.

Also, what were the tournament rules? That can make a difference. Otherwise I'm still skeptical, especially as it's a local tournament.

The rules were 6999, but I do not really see how that can change Sephiroth from being top tier.

And that is why I equip precision evasion on all of my characters. Makes punishing an attack with an assist so much harder.

That was a gorgeous Sephy display X__X. Rush characters like squall are obviously gonna have trouble matching up to such defensive monsters like Seph. Even though i feel like Scintilla was nerfed..

Sephiroth got complete invincibility n front of him until he strikes...but the "striking" part got a hitbox and range nerf...

I say it was buffed...i only used Scinta to block any way^^
