Blizzara makes it count though, you need him to be close to you, not the other way around.
Gabranth: Your hater is merely an annoyance against Light. Much like Golbez, without assist, you can handle him, but you can be screwed really with his Vortex of Judgment deflecting Light's Watera or protecting himself from Blizzara. Commando-type is one option, but when Gabranth runs out of EX, Blizzara is your best friend.
Exdeath: You don't really need a good reason, because a good player that handles Exdeath well is sure enough to either keep you away in extreme care not to be blocked right away, or brought in because of Maelstrom (AND then blocked shortly thereafter). Not only Exdeath is good at blocking and beating opponents out of their misery, but is good at covering distances as well.
Golbez: As a Golbez player, I'm pretty surprised that Lightning players here have a hard time dealing with Golbez. Given that his moves are good enough of grounding Lightning, he can take care of her well, but, staying literally above Golbez, you'll only get to worry about Sector Ray, AND Nightglow when you try to attack him in the ground when you think he is caught off-guard. Bringing him to air and staying above him, is your greatest bet.
