2. what is it with the weapon of choice
3. Ground Evasion/Riposte is not needed on Zid

im not crashing down on your build/setup, everyone can do what they want. But Zidane benifit more from other stuff

The weapon of choice is preference doesn't really matter. As for the ground moves, some people occasionally do hit the ground in order to distract with Tidal Flame or Booster B the opponnent, the ground evasion could come in handy. & Riposte really depends on how much you block. If you don't block then don't put it haha

Counterattack and Sneak attack is like the only crit abilitys Zid need, Riposte is just a waste of CP.
The only move Zid really needs on the ground is Booster 8.
I myself sometimes use S5 when i have some spar CP but the chances when its usefull is like 1/10 on a few fights, its just for an opponent that dont expect it.
Tidel Flame is very slow and some characters can easily dash in > HP, like Squall with Blasting Zone.

Zidane dont want to be on the ground in the first place, like down then up in the air again or just down to see what opponent will do.

Well, Ozma's Splinter gives you a free BRV Boost on Dodge +8%. It's silly to not want that kind of thing. Helps a lot.

Yay, found it on Google, thanks Zodiark.
It's an Assist Build.

Spoiler:

First, I don't use Sephiroth because I can't combo with him. Yeah, right, he works after Meo Twister but Kuja works too if the target is close to a wall.
With Kuja, I can hit Swift Attack or even Storm Impulse as Kuja attacks and still get the Assist Chase. With Sephiroth, I always miss the times and the target keeps geting out of the combo.

Well, I don't have the "Empty EX Gauge" (Wich is very useful on Assist Builds), so I stick with "HP=100%" since it's working on battle start and the "EXP to HP" can help me reach Full HP in some cases.


For Basics I got:

The first and basic ones
Free air Dash
Assist Gauge Up Dash
Speed Boost ++
Jump Times Boost ++
Ground, Midair and Evasion Boost
Zero Gravity


On Support I only have "Auto Assist Lock On"


For Extras:

Precision Jump
Physical Shield
Counterattack
Sneak Attack
Assist Critical Boost
Disable Counterattack
EXP to HP
Peltast's Gear (Lufenia's Edge to complete Judgment of Lufenia)
