THIS x1000.
Rupture assist would have been amazing, actually any of his other air braves would have been awesome.
Back on subject; after considering the possibility of assist punishment, nerfed damage and the fleeting nature of DDFF EXmode, I think Aero can stay in the box for this one.
Unless Aero will cause stagger when blocked (which should be since you're guarding a TORNADO!), it's obvious Gaia Breach will win, and it was quite fun spamming it at my friend when he had his character's Aerial Recovery and Auto Recovery off (for some unknown reasons >_>), it's like juggling... lol

Aero, at least in my use of it, is really a reactionary and diversionary technique. It just throws one more thing out onto the field for your opponent to think about or is used to initiate a chase sequence. Other than that, Gaia Breach is much more capable just because it has a nice range and throws the enemy out of your path for a moment to decide what to do next. It flows better with Gabranth's attacks, especially when you have Jump Boost+(+) and Dual Rend/Innocence/even Hatred. But besides as a diversionary tactic or point-blank bludgeon, Aero is almost usesless.
That is what can be concluded from the whole thread and a lot of Gabranth users. Good way to sum it up Durandal. In my view ground Aero is not worth it not only for reasons that Gaia Breach is better in everything for stated reasons above, but because you can hop quickly and do aerial Aero, and the difference would be negligible. That is assuming you must have Aero as part of your move-set and granted you are having a hard time deciding between Aero and Gaia Breach. Ground Aero saves a bit more frames as opposed to hopping and doing aerial Aero, but the way Aero is used you will almost always have the distance from the opponent to do that. Gaia Breach hits strong, is quick, and saves you many times.

“Get the new Hatred XLS 2011.-The Hatred XLS 2011 is the best in its class equipped with the latest ex charge technology, and by Gabranth standard includes 10 different add-ons to des-pair your enemies, for it's 100% hybrid (runs on ex charges and/or ex forces–a renewable energy source). Hatred XLS utilizes the latest DPS-Duodecim Position System for navigation, detection and elimination of any “obstacles”. “GET IT NOW OR HATRED IS NOT WHAT DRIVES YOU.”-RDFMASTER
