Prishe's exclusive weapon

Okey so i'm almost lvl 100 (yay) but now I have another problem... lvl 100 equipment, I looked at prishe's exclusive weapon wich is the following:

Glanzfaust HP -595 BRV +79 ATK +68 Assist Gauge Duration +30% Slight Counterattack effect

I was thinking of equipping her with a katana-class in order to obtain more ex force and thus using an ex mode build, but I would like your opinion in this matter, is viable to have an ex build using prishe's exclusive? (the bonus on the assist gauge is excellent if you wait for your opponent to make a mistake and then punishing wich is intensified by the Counterattack Effect...)

It depends on personal preference I would suggest using an assist build but I use Jecht assist helps her get and hp attack in, Prishe with Jecht seems right and ex is not that great anymore but prishe's ex mode ability is really good though so it your choice

Unfortunately you will probably not have an optimized build if you go for EX, ;(

For example, the basic accessories: Pearl Necklace has Assist Gauge Charge -20% and Dragonfly Orb has Assist Gauge Duration -30% which will automatically negate Glanzfaust, not to mention any boosters that are working at the time. You maaay want to try something else.

If you don't want to neglect her EX Mode, try using the special accessories Tenacious Attacker, (Absorb EX Force during attacks) and Glutton (Absorb EX Force while taking damage.) The Close to You accessory works the same way, however it comes with Assist Gauge Charge -30%.

EX and Assists counter each other horribly accessory-wise. It's difficult to balance them both in a build, :/

Really I think you should have a set where you use a ex build and use ultima weapon, and have an assist build with Prishe's Glanzfaust. I like my assist build due to the fact I can get more damage off using it, but her ex build isn't bad either.

I'm using an assist build with Prishe and it works amazingly!!! Zidane is my assist and he's fast and able to get in some nice follow-up damage. Hmmm, I never thought of trying Ultima Weapon with an EX Build. I may give that a shot.

I say go with an assist build. You're gonna land about 6% of your HP moves without assists. Well, I can't seem to hit anything, at least.

Prishe is a character who can pump out great Brave damage, made even better by the fact that a couple of her attacks stagger/Guard Crushes her opponents. But as stated, her HP Attacks are very easy to avoid, so she badly needs an Assist to help her with hitting her target.

Agreed, Sol Diviner. A good assist build does wonders for Prishe. It's actually more beneficial than her EX mode since she's already effective outside of Ex Mode. The Double Skillchain EX bonus is a nice if you can land them in time.

On top of that, her double attack chaining ability in EX Mode - while good - is hardly needed, as a good Prishe player can still pump out good amounts of damage without EX Mode. If anything, she ought to save her gauge for EX Revenge where it'd be easier to land an HP Attack (assuming doing so is legal in competitive play).

Yep, the Ex Revenge. This is where she'll be able to experiment and do combos that she wouldn't normally be able to do outside of EX Revenge.
