In my opinion they need to include a downloadable update for Duodecim. I'm not talking about changing gameplay or anything, but here are the things that really annoy me that should be easily fixed.
1. You can't choose the costume for a character you are fighting in Battle mode. You should be able to fight an enemy in different outfits. There are so many good alternate outfits in this game but you don't see them unless you are in one of them.
2. You can change your level easily in the fight set-up for Player v COM, but they removed it for Player v Player fights. You now have to go to Level Adjust in the Customize menu which wastes time and makes the whole process tedious and less enjoyable for me anyhow. It used to be so quick and easy.
3. When a fight is over, in Dissidia you could choose to go back to the battle setup, the character select or the menu. In Duodecim you can only go back to battle setup. This just means extra time to wait to be able to switch characters now.
4. Replay option for Player v Player. Why not? It could request a replay from the other player. So many times we have to go back to the battle setup only to play the same fight without changing anything, why not just replay straight from the WIN or LOSE screen?
Just my opinions anyhow. Does anybody agree with this? Anything else that should be updated if there were to be one?
Eh, I wouldn't say that this is really a big deal. It'd be nice, but it's not really necessary for them to focus on it when there are bigger things they could change.
Again, I don't see the point since people typically fight at the same level and that level is usually 100 vs 100. If they want to do otherwise, they can easily set their alternate sets to a different level and switch.2. Now this I can agree with. There's a rematch option for vs in most good fighting games, I see no reason why there shouldn't be one for Dissidia. Both players could choose what they want to do next, and if they both select rematch, it would immediately occur.4. Replay option for Player v Player. Why not? On top of that, I'd like to see some attempt at fixing balancing issues from SE. I'm pretty sure that SE is finished with this game, asides from adding some music/costumes and that they don't really care about balance, but eh. Capcom finally did it with MVC3, I'd like to see that kind of care with this game from SE.
The outfit thing I completely agree with. The only time you get an alternate costume is if you are fighting the same character that's set as your assist and they're using the default outfit. Kind of sucks.
Level changing was changed because of the automatic equipment suggestion I believe. If you change your level, most of the time you won't be able to use the equipment you have currently (Exclusive weapons being level 100+ for example). So the system has to go to the correct screens to do this. Cost wise, I can see this being the best option because it doesn't require recoding a new way to get to that screen.
I prefer the player vs player as is. My friend likes to change characters quite frequently during our ADHOC games, so it works out in the end.
I agree with that... I really wanna see my opponents in their alternative outfits. It kinda brings more fun or something...1. as for the others... I too don't like wasting time...but not so much agree with it...
You can fight against a ghost wearing any outfit you want if you make it into a friend card.
