best place for weapons and armour

k so i got ffiv complete collection a couple of days ago. ive just destoyed the giant of babil and am now on the moon again. i want to know where i can go to get some good weapons and armour as im just getting pwned in the lair of the father. any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Pretty much in the final dungeon or the Cave of Trials if you're planning on using Yang, Porom, Palom, Edward or Cid. You can also get Excalibur for Cecil right now.

sweet thanks so pretty much the lunar trials then. but atm i need to be able to survive lol. which is the best shop with the best equipment? and yes i did search google but it hasnt been very helpful.

About the Lunar Trials, it can only be unlocked by defeating the final boss with all characters well not all, you only need Porom or Palom in the team when fighting the final boss. So yeah, last dungeon which is the Lunar Subterrane, although the weapons and some armor are guarded by bosses or enemies.
And pretty much the best place to buy the best equipment is Feymarch and Tomra, you can also find good equipment in the Sylph Cave, and I believe you can buy some good projectiles for Rosa and Edge at Kokkol's Forge if you have obtained Excalibur from him, but since I don't know if you got the weapon or not, then I have no idea what is going to happen.
