So other character sections have video threads, but I haven't seen one yet for Lightning. So I thought, what the hey, here's a couple of of my Lightning Gameplay vids against a friend of mine via ADHOC.

Where's Thunder D:, and aeroga!!? Still nice Lightning :P I think Cloud assist is better for stages with ground for Lightning then Sephy is though.

Thanks! I don't really like using thunder, to range and position specific for me. Aeroga was swapped out for Thundaga due to CP limitations. I normally chose Sephiroth due to the ease of so many hits and an insta thunderfall after the chase. Of course that can be said for Cloud's wall rush as well I guess.

Aww, you should give Thunder another go D:, It's really good once you figure out how to use it :P. Yep Cloud's wall rush is godly <3, same could be said for Cecil too I guess xD. Aeroga, and Thunder are a great combination you really should give it a try.

I'm not a lightning expert ( i just play her when i dont play Squall or the Emperor) but I liked this fight.

1:08 and 7:04 were REALLY awesome breaks with Zantetsuken! good job there

A question, though: was this an EX-ruleset? If not can you tell me what your build consists of? You sucked EX force like mad!! 1 thunder spell + 1 army of one (with 1 chase animation)= full EX gauge?!?!

I have to admit that using army of one take really precise timing as where blizzara is easier to pressure with thunder works well to

Well, Tenacious attacker with a white gem and two or three white drops, I do too, but I don't get THIS much

My friend and I work with a custom rule set that's based more off of DFF rather than Duodecim. No EX-Cores but 200% EX-Force. Thunder and Army of One are insane EX generators as is and with the ruleset it allows for quick EX building.

To answer the build question though, I use Glutton and Tenacious Attacker with my main Lightning build.

Thanks! I suspected it, since Sepiroth gathered insane EX as well-it was kinda obvious to be honest, but it never hurts to ask!

Good job overall! I watched your previous vs Garland video too. nice pressure with Blizzara, it's really a worthwhile tool from time to time.
