Episode 2 is up!
Nice to see that people are still interested in this thing. I almost thought I'd lost all that popularity that I'd worked so hard to achieve.
Yeah, like that was a legitimate worry.
An episode related aside: writing drunken-ese is actually pretty hard for me. Don't know why I bother.

A little wisdom from me to you: If you give a man a fire, he's warm for a day. If you set a man on fire, he's warm for the rest of his life.
It has been quite some time, hasn't it? As an appology, I give you not one, but TWO new episodes of Bartz' Annoying Quest! Episode three is pure fluff, plain and simple. Nonetheless, it is one that I've been wanting to do for a while. I have mixed feelings about it, personally. It came out okay, in my opinion, but not as great as I'd hoped.
Episode four is where the plot of this season finally takes off. Yes, that mythical creature known as Plot finally shows its face.
And I know I keep saying it, but Disney-dia is on its way guys. It'll be along eventually.

Great to see more episodes popping up! Once again, I found them fun and enjoyable. Ep3 was actually quite adorable, and after this I’m hoping for more interaction between Bartz and Cee.
Wow, things are getting pretty intense in Ep4, huh? All that action and fighting and chaos and Kuja doing something behind the curtains… Can’t wait to see what happens next!
Nice to hear that Disney-dia’s coming along. But it must not have been easy, I imagine. I’ve been dabbling with Quests myself, and I can definitely see how much work and time goes into them. Plus, juggling between BAQ and this… I’m impressed. Something I could never handle, I must say.
As always, I’ll be looking forward to more great works from you!
You are the true Gitaroo Man~
Episode 5! Get it while it's hot!
Thanks for the kind words Amet. You don't know the half of it, as apart from BAQ and Disney-dia, I have a few other (minor) writing projects underway and another quest series I am planning.
Yeah, I tend to do a whole lot at once. Don't worry, I won't burn out until after I'm finished, I promise!
Actually, speaking of the next quest series, I'd like to ask for some opinions. If you look at my original post in this thread, you'll notice that I have a quest series planned as a prequel to a machinima. Well, that never got off the ground, but I really don't want to abandon the story I've put together. I will be converting it into another series of quests, entitled Division of the Empire. Empire Ascendant will be written alongside it, and will be released in a manner similar to the reports in Kingdom Hearts, out of order and when they become relevant to the story.
This is going to be a thing regardless of what happens. The question I pose to you who play my quests is: should I start posting DotE quests now, or wait until I've finished BAQ? I ask because I've got about another two or three season's worth of ideas for BAQ, and despite the serious turn things have been taking it is still, in my mind, a more joking series, whereas DotE will be a much more dramatic, serious thing.
If I would be working on all these projects at once, my time would be taken up pretty much completely. I say this not because I resent that, quite frankly I love these creative projects and would do them 24/7 if possible, but because it will effect the update schedule. As is, if I start buckling down on BAQ I could probably produce an episode every two weeks. If I worked on this alongside it, I would probably be able to give one episode of both series every month. Disney-dia is really a series of longer, non-related projects and will likely not be affected either way.
So which would everyone here prefer? One series with more frequent updates, or two with less frequent? I have the first episode of DotE made, I could post if people want a sample.

Whoa, that’s quite a number of writing projects you’re working on! I can barely write one decent story, so definitely color me impressed.
DotE sure sounds like it’ll be a cool quest series. The Palamecian Empire is from FFII, right…? It’s been years since I played that game on the GBA, and I’ve basically forgotten what the game was about. (What kind of FF fan am I, haha...)
As for the update frequency on your quests, I’m fine with either option. I don’t know what everyone else prefers, but both schedules work out for me.
In the meantime, I’ll be checking out Ep5 of BAQ (and Ep1 of DotE if you decide to upload it)!
And it's official. The first quests for both DotE and Empire Ascendant are up! I've cannibalized my second post to host that series of quests. Here's hoping that this will be an enjoyable series for everyone!

A little late, but I managed to get another episode of Bartz Annoying Quest up. Hopefully I'll still be able to get my promised two quests out for this month.
Edit: On the note of the Report with this episode, I'd suggest reading it after playing. Just a suggestion, not a requirment.
