Yet another late update. Who here actually expected me to keep to the schedule?

In any case, this next part of Division of the Empire illustrates an important part of the storytelling/gameplay dynamic. Namely, Cecil. To make a long story short, he is supposed to be a pure paladin by in DotE. Since it is impossible to have Cecil start as anything but a dark knight in his battles is impossible in game, so I just ask that you close your eyes and pretend for that little bit. This will be a running theme for this series, character design choices made more for storytelling purposes than for statisical advantage. This is the same reason Vaan and Zidane have incomplete armour sets; they are orphans wearing only what they are able to find.

So anyway, thank you for enduring my madness, and I hope you enjoy. Things will be picking up within the next two parts, and so I hope someone out there is looking forward to it!

Sorry for not dropping by in a while! Things have been getting pretty hectic (what with the school semester rolling on over), but I always try to find time to play your quests.

BAQ’s taking an interesting turn, and the latest episode features one of my favorite FF ships. I feel bad for Cloud being rejected, though, haha.

DotE seems to have a very promising start. I have a feeling it’s going to be another great series that I’ll be enjoying from you!

However, I haven’t been able to play Empire Ascendant, since Mediafire seems to have mixed up the files between DotE:Ripples and EA:Noah. Both links are downloading with the filename “Memory I-Noah,” but the actual quest in both zip files was DotE:Ripples. I’m not sure what happened, but would it be all right if you could fix the links?

On another note, I managed to get my hands on a European copy of DDFF, and I was wondering if you would like your quests to be converted to ULES format. I’m sure Nevfx and others would appreciate that. Just let me know if you’re interested!

Wow, I can't believe I did that. That wasn't Mediafire, that was definitely me screwing up. Don't worry, I'll fix it in a bit, probably when I go to post my next episode of BAQ, which shouldn't be too far off.

And hey I would love to be able to share these in ULES format, so go right ahead on that.

So I've got a three for one deal for you guys today! Not only is the next episode of Bartz' Annoying Quest up, but the first quest of the Empire Ascendant series is actually up now! In addition to this, I've reuploaded the second quest of DotE, because looking back at it there were a few things I wanted to touch up.
