I'd go with the one that has Riposte on it, honestly.
I have a different set up for each set, but one of my favorites is set C, which is designed to combat high level opponents (namely, feral chaos and other LVL 100+ characters). Rather than fighting them as LVL 100, I fight them at level 1. I use a two-part dynamo to generate large amounts of bravery.
My Setup is:
Equipment:
Whatever the best weapon and shield are at level 1, but no helmet or armor.
Accessories:
Dragonfly Orb
Pendant
Hatless
Armorless
level 1-9
Level Gap > 90
Strong Against Adversity
Force to Courage
Lifa Leaf
Cocobo Feather
Summon:
Magic Pot or Kraken
(KEY) Abilities:
EXP to Bravery
_______________________________________
This set up creates a dynamo of perpetually self-sustaining bravery. Pendant increases Ex core appearance by 10% minimum. Dragonfly Orb increases Ex core absorption by 10% minimum. Lifa Leaf leaves me with 1 hp after a 1 death-dealing attack, activating the power of Strong Against Adversity, raising the combined effect boost to 99.9%. Ex core appearance and absorption increase by 99.9%, which supplies me with ex core that literally generates as fast as I can grab it. Force to courage turns that ex core into bravery, and because core absorption is 99.9% higher, each core supplies me with 1000+ points of bravery.
When I attack, EXP to Bravery increases my bravery by the amount of experience I received. Mixed with a Chocobo Feather, which increase me experience by 100%, I NEVER LOOSE BRAVERY for more than a second. Furthermore, If I use magic pot to copy 9999 bravery from chaos and attack in the right way, MY BRAVERY NEVER DECREASES FROM 9999. (edit) - Razor Gale WILL decrease the bravery though- avoid using it if possible.
The only drawback to this is that is calls for you to fight chaos (or whoever) with 1 HP, which means YOU CANNOT TAKE ANY HP DAMAGE. I've beaten feral chaos this way. (In fact, I had to.) But if you don't think you can survive a tough battle without taking any hits, this is not for you.
(edit)- also, feral chaos cn grab the ex core too, so you have to grab that ex core before he does.
I just defeated the final boss of CotC VERY easily this way. just you Lightning Strike at the proper times and he will be gone very fast.

Is it better to have a assist build or a ex build for her? I tried to do both but the assist part isn't that good on it. the charge is so low.. My set involves both dragonfly orb and together as one alone with other ex building accessories and I think there was one basic accessory for the assist but i forgot the name. I always though Light was better with a ex build. For some reason she, Yuna, and Tifa always gain ex faster than others.
Main:Lightning
I go with an Assist build personally, SbS, Empty EX gauge, TaO(Together as One), Pre- EX mode/EX revenge work well as boosters.

Lightning generates so much Ex Force with Thunder and Army of One, it's retarded. I usually use an Ex Build on her.
Then I guess Heaven's Cloud need to come off. I guess Death Penalty is better for that build right?
Main:Lightning
Why would you not use Heavens Cloud? It's her best weapon by far.
Er, I use Light's exclusive weapon and a Seal of Lufenia equipment set. I use Accessories for all of the heavy work, so i wouldn't know much outside of Adamant, Genji and Lufenian equipment sets.
